Ronan Horsemanship
The purpose of this channel is to share horsemanship methods and exercises that I have gathered through hours of reading books and documents and specialized magazines, watching hours of DVDs and programs, and overall practising thousands of hours with the best possible teachers: Horses.
These methods work successfully with all horses, no matter the breed, the gender or the discipline. These methods always emphasize respect towards horses, calm, and gentleness. Yet, security of the human on the ground or on the saddle is a priority: you can not be a good horseman if you can not take care of yourself first!
I did not invent any of these methods, they existed for years, decades. This type of approach existed centuries ago actually. For information though, my main influence is definitely the type of horsemanship demonstrated by Tom Dorrance and his followers Ray Hunt, and Buck Brannaman. This horsemanship is not only a series of exercises, it implies a real philosophy of life...

EN | Hi everyone, just a short message to keep you posted: I have more videos to come pretty soon. Working on my recent experience in learning ranch sorting in Quebec, that was great.
I also have a few older videos I'm re-editing for the new website, including videos showing uncut footage of a four-day colt starting in the south of France a few years ago. So, stay tuned...
In the meantime, I just wanted to share with you that pic: it's a beautiful day and a great time to keep in mind that we should enjoy every minute spent with our horses!
FR | Salut tout le monde, un court message pour vous tenir au courant : j'ai plusieurs projets de vidéos en cours. Je travaille actuellement sur celle de ma récente expérience en tri de bétail au Ranch Canadien, au Québec. C'était superbe.
Je suis aussi en train de ré-éditer quelques vidéos un peu plus vieilles, pour mon nouveau site internet. Entre autres choses, il y aura des vidéos en temps réel d'un débourrage qui s'est fait sur quatre jours, il y a quelques années, dans le sud de la France. N'oubliez donc pas de suivre la chaîne...
En attendant, je voulais partager cette photo : il fait beau aujourd'hui et c'était une journée parfaite pour nous rappeler qu'il faut savoir profiter de chaque moment passé en la compagnie de nos chevaux !

Nous avons passé pas mal de temps à filmer et à prendre des photos pour le nouveau site internet. J'ai aussi commencé à mettre à jour toutes mes vidéos et à nettoyer a chaîne YouTube. Vous allez donc certainement voir de nouvelles vidéos arriver qui sont en fait de vieilles vidéos revisitées et rééditées. Et j'ai encore beaucoup d'autre chose à publier ensuite.
