I just finished playing Shadow Gens, one of the best Sonic games so far definitely, it even made me cry, Sonic Team put so much heart into it it's unreal, I loved it

And one of the things I loved the most is how they brought back my GOAT Mephiles, the best boss fight in the game def, even the ambience before the fight is great, they finally did him justice.

Goodbye to the Fearless year of Shadow. A year dedicated to one of my favorite characters in media. A character born from the tragedy and the pain, who learned to keep living, never forgetting where he came from.

Like Sonic, Shadow has helped me a lot on hard times, and has helped me become a better person in general. 2024 wasn't the best, it definitely had a lot of hard times, but this franchise helped me a lot to overcome situations that I normally wouldn't overcome by myself. It was hard, yes, but not impossible.

Shadow is a character that moves on from the past, but never forgets where he came from, and that's exactly why it has been so helpful for me, and a lot of other people. He learned from his pain, grew stronger from it, and I can't help but thank Sega for creating such a deep and amazing character, and dedicating what was probably one of, if not THE best year Sonic has ever had. Sometimes I really can't put on words how much this franchise means to me, and how much both Sonic and Shadow mean to me. Where people probably see just two characters from a silly game, I see my reason to get up everyday, to "live life to the fullest in the time we have", to "fight like I always have", and specially

SONIC 3 IS THE BEST MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN, THE WAIT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT, AND I'M GONNA WATCH IT ATLEAST 2 OTHER TIMES IN THE CINEMA


Okay, WHERE DO I EVEN START?! I'll start by a non spoiler review. As a games fan, I'm MORE than happy with all the references we got, and as we see in the trailer, there are even references to Snapcube. I went with my best friend, and we both were freaking out at EVERY. SINGLE. REFERENCE. The room was full of kids with their parents, they were probably thinking we were crazy ngl LMFAO

Best battle in the trilogy goes to this one, if Sonic vs Knuckles was peak, this is even BEYOND that, and I was caught off guard by something specific on it, honestly, best fight I've seen on cinema, and even fiction I'd say (maybe too much of a fan here, but I've just loved Sonic since I'm a little kid, can't blame me lol). The story was indeed more serious than both the other ones, but it still manages to go well with its normal humor, I don't care what ppl say on twt, Sonic acts like Sonic would, it's not off character like some idiots say

Shadow and Maria's story was heartbreaking, I cried with Dark Memories back when it came out, and I teared up a bit here too, but as it didn't really have too much screentime, it didn't manage to make me cry a lot (I am very sensitive, yes, specially with these 2, they have a soft spot in my heart). There were some changes to both Shadow's origin, and his story with the Robotniks (Maria and Gerald), but it wasn't that big of a deal


Honestly, a great movie, and definitely the best of the trilogy, can't wait for the 4th one, SPECIALLY AFTER THAT POST CREDIT SCENE, IT GOT ME FREAKING OUT SO BAD DHJFHSDGKJHGFHKJ

OMG THE SUPERMAN TEASER TRAILER WAS AMAZING


IT CAPTURES EVERYTHING FROM THE CHARACTER WELL
THIS IS WHAT WE WANTED. NOT AN EDGELORD LIKE SNYDER TRIED TO GIVE US, BUT AN ACTUAL HERO, SOMEONE THAT BRINGS HOPE AND PEACE TO HUMANITY, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT

GOOOOOOOOOOD I'm SO excited for this, Gunn seems to know the character very well, I trust him, he made what is probably my favorite Marvel movies (GoTG trilogy). DC is definitely in good hands.

It's ironic that Superman, being the literal embodiment of hope, is the one that is actually bringing people hope to try to stop the fatigue of superheroes' cinema

But oh well, only came back to say this. I've been waiting for this trailer to drop since the first teaser image, so yesterday I was face to face with my phone waiting for the exact second the trailer dropped lol. I post this now because I wasn't sure to come back just for this, but it's something REALLY important for me, Superman being one of my favorite characters in fiction, and someone who has taught me a LOT and has a lot of matter in my life.

The Penguin is the best superhero series that's ever been wrote


I'm glad to finally see a villain media that treats the main character like what it actually is: A damn. VILLAIN.

It's amazing to see how well written the series is, giving you hope and actually making you sympathize with someone like Oz, just to remind you in the last chapter that he's an actual piece of crap. He acts like a villain, someone who lies, stabs, and just lives sh###ing on others, he's not an antihero like other media tries to make villains look like on the last years. Like his own mother describes him: "I'm living with the devil"

The last chapter actually managed to left me in pure shock and even made me form some tears in the process, I REALLY need Batman to beat the sh#t out of Oswald now, he needs to get what he f###ing deserves


So yeah, basically, this has become my favorite series, 10/10 would be short for what it deserves, and I'm even MORE hyped for The Batman 2 now than what I was before (and I was already reaaaaally hyped for it)
