Those who fail to self report may face legal action, underscoring the importance of accurate identity records for national security and public service delivery.

At least one person was killed and eight others injured in a terrorist attack on the Tehsil Office in Mastung, Balochistan. Armed men stormed the building, set government vehicles ablaze, and targeted banks. The injured were shifted to Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Raisani Hospital.
Separately, the Pakistan Army killed two terrorists linked to the Indian proxy group Fitna al Hindustan in an IBO in Duki District on June 28.

A 4.4 magnitude earthquake struck parts of Punjab, including Lahore, Kasur, Okara, and Sheikhupura on Tuesday, according to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre. The quake's epicentre was 25km north of Lahore at a depth of 14km. No casualties were reported.

Separately, a 5.5 magnitude quake hit Balochistan's Musakhel district on Sunday, causing house collapses and injuring three people. PDMA teams are assessing the damage and delivering aid.

Sindh Reports First Death From Dengue For 2025

Sindh has confirmed its first dengue-related death of the year, as a 24-year-old man passed away at the Sindh Infectious Diseases Hospital due to critically low platelet levels.
So far in 2025, 295 dengue cases have been reported in Sindh 260 of them in Karachi, making it the epicentre. Other divisions reported minimal cases, with none in Hyderabad and Shaheed Benazirabad in June.
Despite the fatality, overall cases have significantly dropped compared to previous years, indicating effective control efforts. Health officials urge continued caution, especially during the monsoon season.

In a significant relief measure, the federal government has decided to eliminate the PTV license fee currently charged through electricity bills, official sources confirmed.
