Sorry for my lack activity, my mental health has really slowed down my work on YouTube. I've still been practicing some, and I should have more uploads ready fairly soon! Some of my time has also been spent trying to remaster the audio for my previous Minecraft video, but to no avail so far.

Hope you all are enjoying the holidays! I don't have another video completed this week; however I just got a decent take and recording of an upcoming Zelda cover. I still need to take time to do the video editing. Looks like my next cover will come out in 2025. 2024 has been a good year for the channel, almost doubling in growth despite me slowing down the uploads a little. The personal highlight for me was finishing the Majora's Mask soundtrack. Thank you all for listening, and I hope you continue with me through 2025!

I'm so close to 20k subs! I'll probably hit 20k before Christmas! Though it is an exciting achievement, I should've hit 20k subs sometime ago. I was hoping to hit 20.8k subs by the end of the year because my subscriber count would have doubled in one year. But I must've offended the YouTube gods because I fell out of favor with the algorithm last month and growth has suddenly come to a shrieking halt. But nonetheless I'll press on. If you ever want to help this channel with the algorithm you can like, share my covers, and watch my videos from beginning to end in their entirety. But you don't have to that. That's your choice, and you should only do those things if you think I've earned it. I also have a Patreon!

Hey everybody, I apologize for the lack uploads lately. I was planning on recording a fun piano duet with myself this week but last minute I decided to rearrange the parts and orchestration because I had inspiration to redo a better arrangement of it. Unfortunately that requires some new muscle memory including unlearning patterns and fingerings, so it may take a little longer. I continue to ask for your patience. I have a lot of cool projects that more than halfway through the pipeline! I also started a Super Mario 64 cover in honor of the last tournament; I found a place for it in one of the 8 different kinds of covers I'm learning.

Some other things to note, my channel is declining hard recently. I wonder if it fell out of favor with the algorithm. Also these entries are randomly generated, and I'm a little upset that Super Metroid and Banjo-Kazooie had to go up against each other again. Maybe one of the other two will pull off an upset! But out of the games below, which soundtrack would you prefer me to cover?

Time to see who will win 2nd place after Super Mario 64's victory! I assigned each game a number and randomly generated the order to be voted. Which soundtrack would you rather see me cover on piano? This helps me determine what possible non-Zelda covers I might choose in the future. Though given the previous final round I have a strong hunch of which game will win this particular round... Thanks for your help, some of this has been eye opening!

The 1st place winner of the tournament is Super Mario 64! Did you know I have already have 7 covers with themes found in the soundtrack? A lot of them are a bit older on my channel, and it shows in the video editing.

While this contest isn't a mandate that I'll solely focus on the game's soundtrack moving forward, it does give me an idea of what covers (outside of Zelda) my viewers would like to see, so I'll probably favor this a little more than others. I'll repeat the tournament excluding Super Mario 64 to see what second place is, but with different choice combinations than previously. I'm curious to see if Hollow Knight will once again make it into the finals. As a reminder to what determines what I ultimately decide to upload, I practice 8 covers of different categories at a time:

1. 3D Zelda - a cover from a 3D Zelda game
2. 2D Zelda - a cover from a 2D Zelda game
3. Topical - a game cover that's relevant now
4. Fun - a game cover that I would enjoy doing, relevant or not
5. Indie - something from Undertale or Hollow Knight
6. Background Project - an extensive or big project
7. Cinematic - movie themes (TV shows included)
8. Top Hits - something popular from the radio
