Okay, here's an opening sequence for an Azur Lane

Commander (voiceover): When I was a boy, I dreamt of sailing the open ocean. Like the explorers of old, I imagined discovering new lands and charting unknown waters. I romanticized it, the boundless freedom, the endless horizon. But the ocean… held a different kind of discovery—a nightmare born from its depths.

(Scene: A vast, turbulent ocean. Dark clouds gather.)

Commander (voiceover): It started subtly. Anomaly readings. Strange energy signatures emanating from the deepest trenches. Then, they arrived. The Sirens. Not from some distant world, but from beyond our understanding. Beings of cold logic and impossible technology. They carved a fissure in our reality, a Breach through which they poured into our world.

(Scene: A coastal city under attack. Siren warships are depicted as towering, alien entities that unleash devastating energy blasts. Human warships struggle to defend.)

Commander (voiceover): Humanity was caught utterly unprepared. Our navies, our doctrines, our very understanding of warfare… obsolete. The Sirens tore through us. Cities crumbled. Fleets vanished. Millions perished. There was no conquest, no diplomacy, just… annihilation. They pushed us back to the breaking point. They left us with only one thing. Each other.

(Scene: News footage, fragmented and desperate. Images of global leaders meeting, military strategists debating, and civilians fleeing.)

Commander (voiceover): In the face of extinction, the world united. Old grudges and national rivalries… irrelevant. We pooled our resources, our knowledge, and our very hopes… to fight back. To engineer our own salvation. We analyzed the Sirens’ technology and reverse-engineered their power source – the Mental Cubes.

(Scene: Laboratories and shipyards, bustling with activity. Scientists and engineers work feverishly. We see the creation of Shipgirls – human-like figures emerging from advanced machinery, imbued with the essence of battleships.)

Commander (voiceover): The fruits of our labour were the Shipgirls. Vessels are given human form and gifted with the strength to hold back the Siren tide. Central to this effort were the four great factions: The Eagle Union forging their path with innovative designs and a relentless spirit, the Royal Navy holding the bulwark of tradition with their own time-tested battleships, Iron Blood bringing forth the newest military innovations to the battlefield, and the Sakura Empire calling upon ancient spirits of war to fight modern battles.

(Scene: Shipgirls in action. They move with incredible speed and power, wielding ship-based weaponry with devastating effect against the Siren forces.)

Commander (voiceover): We won battles. We pushed back. We tasted victory… for a time. The Sirens grew their power, but we also reached our limits. The Shipgirls were only as good as the commanders leading them. A new generation, forged in the crucible of war. We became symbols of hope, celebrated as heroes. For a while, it seemed we had become good at winning and fighting.

(Scene: A montage of victories - Shipgirls triumphant, cheering crowds, propaganda posters. But a lingering sense of unease is present.)

Commander (voiceover): But the Sirens… they were learning. Adapting. Evolving. And the Breach… it was growing. Then… everything changed.
