Mostly stuff I've Programmed, Music I've written, or Animations I've made
Also animations I programmed set to Music!
A tiny bit of Gaming and shitposting.
I have over a decade of cool unshared projects that will make amazing videos but I haven't had the solitude to narrate them yet!

Hey all.
I've started an audio programming series on my site.
I'm part way through writing the first draft of part 2.
I figured I would link part 1 here:

Sorry I've been slack on programming related content lately.
It's not for lack of coding.
I do have heaps of cool things to show off but I changed computers recently and my most visual projects are on another computer.

I think a lot of my new subscribers are here for weird xenharmonic music and I have plenty of good news on that front.

I've been playing with a new scale which is a giant 18:19:20:21:24:26:27:30:32:33:34:35 ratio

Everything's tuned in just intonation

18/18 0 cents Tonic
19/18 93.603014 cents m219 large undevicesimal semitone
20/18 182.403712 cents y2 classic whole tone
21/18 266.870906 cents z3 septimal minor third
24/18 498.044999 cents w4 just perfect fourth
26/18 636.617660 cents 3o5 tridecimal diminished fifth
27/18 701.955001 cents w5 just perfect fifth
30/18 884.358713 cents y6 just major sixth
32/18 996.089998 cents w7 Pythagorean minor seventh
33/18 1049.362941 cents m711 undecimal neutral seventh
34/18 1101.045408 cents 17o8 septendecimal major seventh
35/18 1151.239619 cents zy8 septimal semidiminished octave

Using subsets of it allows for scales with a similar distribution to blues scale or minor pentatonic but has a much cleaner feel. Or you can choose to use all the notes for a very unique minor scale.
I don't have a clue what to call it, I'll work it out later.
I've been writing a few bits and pieces with it that I'll share soon, as well as the code for generating the samples.

I promise I'll catch up on programming content soon :) I have some really cool stuff to share once I find the free time to make everything more presentable.

I will try to release more original longer content soon.
I want to start working on more long-form content but its so hit or miss what people are actually going to see.

I've been playing around with creating a 2 dimensional non-euclidean geometry to describe movements across this surface.
It has lots of really interesting features, for example if you start traveling along any axis you can return to your point of origin on the same side or underneath it with a single 90 degree turn at the right spot (of which there are infinite).

It has many more interesting properties and I want to explore them and the associated geometry in a video.

Areas on the plateau behave exactly as you'd expect in euclidean geometry, it's once you travel beyond 1 and -1 on either axis that strange things start to happen.

Hey everyone!
What should I work on improving next?

I've been focusing on moving house for a while.
I'm a live-in carer for an elderly double amputee who requires 24/7 supervision so moving takes a really long time.
For the last few weeks I've only been producing content from my preexisting software, mostly fractal renders.

After the move, which should be finished within the next week, I'll finally have time to settle and start developing some new software again!
I've ported my Python FPS engine to FreePascal with scanline-drawing directly to memory so that will be coming soon.

Also check out ‪@Octonion-Music‬ because most of my new music releases will be there, alongside stuff from more talented musicians :) I just recently made an amazing geometric animation/visualizer for a release there definitely worth checking out.
