How in the world did I ever think "A Dance with Dragons" was a better book than "A Feast for Crows" when I first read them? Rereading them now, and ADWD just feels so spastic, focusing on side characters and reading them like main ones, virtually no plot connection between the threads, and just flat lacking the genius of the previous stories.

Is AFFC slow? Yup. But every good series needs some slowdown books.

My channel his 30,000 subscribers while I was on vacation this week! I know I've had less videos coming out in 2025 than previously, but honestly I mostly blame all these amazing 1000+ page books that have been calling to me!

I also wanted to take a moment to tell everyone that I really appreciate you all bearing with the slower releases of videos and the change of direction from videos that were a bit more click baity (top 10s, current news, interacting with other booktubers, etc.) to almost purely book reviews. That change, as expected, has reduced the amount of views and subs I was used to getting, but has made me personally more happy. Just wanted to fill you all in. There's no big drama happening with me or some bombshell I'm waiting to drop. I'm just a busy dude focused on my family life and work that uses this channel as a fun hobby.

Thanks again for sticking around and being part of this little corner of the book-loving internet. More reviews soon — and until then, happy reading to you!
