I present to you my imagination of what the Nimrod outtake of Green Day's cover of the song "Alison," originally by Elvis Costello, would have sounded like!
For this imagination, I based it on the small fragment of the original recording circulating on YouTube. I began by imagining how the guitar would have sounded in other parts of the song, as I only had the chorus to work with.
Once that was done, it was clear that I needed more than just the guitar, so who better than our friend @silktongs to construct a drum track using the drum tracks from the original album songs, as we know it's his specialty; along with recording the bass, so my heartfelt thanks to @silktongs , who not only helped bring this idea to life but also became an essential part of it and therefore this is also his creation!
To finish, I adapted the original vocal track extracted from the demo released on Nimrod's 25th anniversary to maintain its natural feel and this time set aside the use of AI; I mixed it, and well, that's how it turned out! I hope you thoroughly enjoy it and that it brings you joy!
This has been one of the most significant projects I've created, so I would greatly appreciate it from the bottom of my heart if you could help me share the video so that more people can enjoy it.
