HAPPY 1 YEAR TO THE BOOK OF BILL!!!

A year ago today, I was living in my best friend’s apartment and sleeping on his couch after a really rough year. I was at a very new low in my life, very lost, but a year ago today, I would join him to Barnes & Noble to buy the newly released: THE BOOK OF BILL.

We picked up his pre-order, hopped in the car, and suddenly it started making REALLY weird noises. something neither of us had EVER heard from that car, if not from a car ever. so deviating from our plans, we headed home to inspect the car, just to find……. Absolutely nothing. We didn’t know what to do, so we drove back into town, but the noise just. Magically stopped. We never figured out what was wrong, BUT we stopped at a cafe and begun reading and decoding the mysterious book together.

This GIF is a video my friend had taken of us attempting to make a TikTok about the codes, and I would have no idea of ANYTHING that would happen to me by reading this book.

I had no idea that a year later, a Gravity Falls fan song would save me from homelessness. I would have no idea that I had found one of the greatest communities ever.

I made a Grunkle Stunkle Wins The Funkle Bunkle song as a gift for you all — a song that started out as a genuine joke like a week ago, it truly wasn’t going to go anywhere but then. against all odds. it went somewhere.

I was going to post a very different kind of video for Christmas actually, something that extends the narrative of i, the gold which I’m very excited for, but that one needs a Bit more time to cook since it’ll be kinda important. So I decided to throw myself at this 5 day long project instead!

In theme of the holidays, I just wanted to share a quick thank you to all who have stuck around since AXOLOTL, checked out my music, checked me out — some of you even made art, edits, and animations to them which is always so so SOO special to me. It makes doing little things like this so much more rewarding, and sharing the joy of things I create is exactly why I do it. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: it is a DREAM COME TRUE to make things for people, so thank you for being one of them 🫶

I hope you enjoy this. Um. Very Interesting thing I’ve created!! It was actually a lot of fun to make, and it sounds like a lot of people actually really dig it which is awesome! I won’t lie, during the making of this I definitely pretended to be in a rave in my living room. Imagine the funkle bunkle song playing at a rave. I think that’s when I will peak.
