V4’s are back from heat treatment, and getting closer to release! I’ll be dropping 50 of them in the first drop, and I’ll have 50 more spots open for custom orders same day.

I’ve changed up the custom order system a bit, so there are now limited custom order spots available, with a limited order window. This has allowed me to bring the wait time down to about 3-6 weeks max. I have a few custom order spots open for select models, and I’ll be closing those spots out on Monday morning.

I’m super excited to get these V4’s released, as they have been in the works for a long time! Which color combos should I do for the V4?

Finished up a few more Ultem Copperheads! These are always a challenge — the Ultem takes twice as long to make as G10, and the polish… well, let’s just say it takes more time than I’d like to admit 😅 (usually two or three rounds to chase out every tiny scratch). The clear Kydex also needs special handling, and about half of it usually ends up in the trash. But once everything comes together, they turn out awesome. It’s hard to capture their true “essence” on camera.

V4 prototypes back from heat treatment! Whenever I make a “new” model I like to make a few at different edge thicknesses. Although I model my sharpened edge in CAD, it is always nice to get your hands on multiple options in real life and see how they turn out once sharpened. These are laser engraved with their edge thicknesses in inches, and after I sharpen them I’ll be able to determine which thickness I want to run. From there production can start for the blades. Next step is to design the handles and sheaths. Looking to have these out Q1 2026.
