Dhamma Talks at Dhammagiri
Authentic Buddhist Dhammatalks faithful to the original teachings of the Buddha. Explained to be relevant and applicable for daily life in contemporary Western society.
Instead of catering to changing trends and fashions, we aim to present the timeless Dhamma-Vinaya as it was taught by the Buddha himself to his direct disciples, and then sustained by the enlightened masters of the Forest Tradition for 2½ millenia.
We also include videos of chanting, meditation & events.
The teachings are shared by Ajahn Dhammasiha and Ajahn Moneyyo, experienced senior monks who have trained for many years in the tradition of Ajahn Chah, and studied the Pali scriptures in their original language, and by visiting senior monks in the Theravada Forest Tradition.

5. Ajahn Varadhammo (abbot of Bodhisaddha Monastery, Sydney),
And a Bhikkhu Sangha of 16 monks all together.

Dhamma Talks at Dhammagiri
From 18 to 22 April, Ajahn Dhammasiha attends the biggest event ever in our tradition of Ajahn Chah in Australia: the Sima Establishment Ceremony at Bodhisaddha Monastery, Wilton near Sydney, where more than 80 monks are expected to participate.
In fact, this may well be the largest gathering of bhikkhus in Australia in any tradition, ever.
There will be program at Bodhisaddha all Easter Holidays from Friday 18th to Monday 21st April, as you can see on the poster above. You can go to the Bodhisaddha website for more information:

Dhamma Talks at Dhammagiri
From 2nd to 4th of May, we will conduct the Consecration & Relic Enshrinement Cermony for our Stupa.
Luang Por Anan of Wat Marp Jan has kindly agreed to lead the proceedings to inaugurate our Saddhamma Cetiya. He is a direct senior disciple of Ajahn Chah, and one of the most respected living meditation masters in Thailand.
He will be accompanied by Luang Por Kalyano of Buddha Bodhivana Monastery, and other senior monks from Australia and Thailand.
We have three days of major activities, Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th, with the main event on Friday 2nd May:

Almsoffering, Shared Meal & Stupa Ceremony with LP Anan & LP Kalyano
Saturday 03 May:
Almsoffering, Shared Meal & Dhamma Talk with LP Anan & LP Kalyano
Sunday 04 May:

Ajahn Keng visiting again on 16th January
Ajahn Keng Khemako will come to Dhammagiri Forest Hermitage again for a short visit on Thur., 16th January (for a few hours). He will be at Dhammagiri at the time of the food offering (10:30am) and give the Dhammatalk/Q&A session after the meal (starting at approx. 11:50 am).
Ajahn Keng Khemako is a Singaporean monk of the Thai Forest Tradition. He was ordained in 1987 under the recommendation of Ajahn Thanissaro. One of his main teachers was Luang Pu Jia Cundo, a first generation disciple of Ajahn Mun.
He received the title of Chao Khun in 2012. Currently, Ajahn Keng is the Abbot of Santi Forest Monastery (Malaysia) and the Abbot of a hill-tribes forest monastery in Om Koi, Chiangmai and President of Palelai Buddhist Temple (Singapore).

Dhamma Talks at Dhammagiri
We're very happy and honoured that Venerable Ajahn Amaro has accepted our invitation to visit Dhammagiri. He will be staying with us from Thursday 27 June until Monday 01 July 2024.
Ajahn Amaro will be leading a One Day Meditation Retreat on Sunday 30 June, 08.30 am to 05.00 pm at Dhammagiri, and join us for most of our regular programs Thu 27th, Fri 28th and Sat 29th.
On Monday 01 July we will offer almsfood to him at the international airport at 10.00 am (no monks at Dhammagiri that day).

Dhamma Talks at Dhammagiri
Ajahn Vajiro is visiting Dhammagiri from 23 February to 05 March.
He's the abbot of Sumedharama, the Ajahn Chah branch monastery in Portugal, near Lisbon.
Luang Por will be here for our Magha Puja One Day Full Moon Retreat,
Sunday 25 February, 09.00 am to 05.00 pm.
Otherwise, you can meet him for most of our regular programs between 23/02 and 04/05.
Or watch him on our regular Life Streams on Youtube.
However, please note that we're on an outing on Wednesday 28/02.
There will be NO MONKS at Dhammagiri on 28th.
Also, on Tuesday 05/03, there will be NO MONKS at Dhammagiri.
Instead, we have the almsoffering at the airport, 10.30 am.
