But Avinatan Or couldn't leave his friends behind.
When the terrorists attacked the Nova festival, Avinatan managed to escape. He was already out of the clutches of Hamas — but he turned back to save others.
That decision cost him his freedom for 738 days.
Today, that chapter finally ends.
Avinatan is home.
And after more than two years in captivity, he's reunited with Noa Argamani, the girlfriend he risked his life to save.
