EJRILLA CHANNEL UPDATE....

Where the fudge peckers have EJ and Rilla been? You’re probably wondering where we’ve been, and fair question.



First and most importantly: WE ARE NOT CLOSING DOWN THE CHANNEL. EJRILLA IS NOT OVER.



The honest answer is that both of us have had several major life changes hit all at once and it has made recording and editing really freaking hard. Here’s the quick rundown:



⚠️ My computer went BAM - Sadly, my computer completely crapped out on me one day while EJ and I were trying to record. It was bad enough that I had to take it to a computer repair technician, and it ended up needing a factory reset. That means I lost all of the recording and OBS settings we used for every EJRILLA video. I still need to rebuild all of that, and I just haven’t had the time to get everything back to where it needs to be.



⚠️ EJ was laid off - EJ had to aggressively job hunt for a while, which obviously took priority. The good news is that he has started a new job! The tricky part is that it’s a traditional 9-to-5, so our normal Thursday recording sessions are no longer possible. That has made scheduling way more complicated than it used to be.



⚠️Rilla is having another baby - My wife and I recently announced that we’re having another baby! We’re incredibly excited, but that also means life has been moving at full chaos speed. A lot of the time I would normally spend editing has gone into getting our house ready to sell.



⚠️ Rilla is selling and buying a home - On top of everything else, we’re also in the middle of selling our house and buying a new one. Most evenings, I’ve been moving almost our entire house into a storage unit. Literally almost everything. As you can imagine, that has eaten up basically all of the time I would normally use for recording and editing.



And honestly, there’s even more going on behind the scenes, but those are the big things.



All of that said, once life settles down and we get back into a workable rhythm, EJ and I absolutely plan to return to regular releases of Ren and friends.



We truly apologize for the silence and I’m sorry it took me this long to get an update out to all of you. We appreciate your patience more than you know, and we hope you understand.

For those of you wondering where our latest Ren release reactions are, my computer completely crapped out on me and I had to factory reset it. EJ and I lost all of our recording settings and software.

On top of this, I am currently packing up my entire house to move to another home soon, so that has kept me insanely busy on top of my other jobs. It's been a month!
