That phrase perfectly captures the essence of Alive In The Dark. This New Jersey-based band has been blending hard-hitting metal with vibrant Latin rhythms since 2009, shredding guitars and inspiring live audiences to bang their heads and dance Salsa in equal measure.
Drawing inspiration from metal giants like August Burns Red, Between The Buried and Me, and Misery Signals, Alive In The Dark adds a unique twist with rhythmic influences reminiscent of Latin legends such as Marc Anthony, Juan Luis Guerra, and Maná. This fusion comes naturally for the trio: Orlando (vocals) and Jesús (guitar) bring their Dominican heritage to the forefront, while Wilson (guitar) contributes his Ecuadorian roots.
So whether you're banging your head, dancing, or jumping around, Alive In The Dark is here to deliver high energy and positive vibes.

Tonight at midnight, our brand new song "Phantom Hand" will be released.
This isn't hype for the sake of it. This is the biggest and most important single in our band's history.
It was produced at Atrium Audio, the legendary team behind August Burns Red, Polaris, Galactic Empire, ERRA, and more.
A lot of you found us through our covers, and we’re grateful for that. But this is something personal.
Lyrically, the song is about loss and grief, something some of us have experienced far too often. It's about trying to find meaning through it all.
We're so proud to share this one with you. Please help us do the same.

Remember when we said 5K Subscribers by June? Well, we're thinking 5K by the end of the month! Welcome to all the new subscribers!
We have some announcements to make! We are currently tracking a brand-new song. Panic and Lunar are oldies that were tracked back in 2020, so this will be the first new Alive in the Dark song in five years—though it may not feel like it to y’all. lol.
