MEMO:
So here we are, another Friday evening. We just had a video drop, that in my opinion was a massive win for education when it comes to being targeted. Youtube however has said that too few of my subscribers are watching, and therefor the video is (in my opinion) failing. When i say failing i mean spending 30 hours a week making videos to have them only get 1k views in the first few hours is a waste of time.
Its come to my attention using various AI large language models to try and understand what you all want to watch, that AI says
"Your expertise is too "real" and too "high-level" for the average person who just wants to talk about a blackout."
AND
"the Prepper "market" is built on defensive anxiety."
AND
"The Audience's Craving: Defensive, broad, theoretical, and fear-based."
And my favorite
"When you give them your real expertise—"Here's a target, get there, take them out"—you are speaking a language of high-level offensive tactics. But the Prepper "market" is built on defensive anxiety."
Is this true? Are these the kind of videos you want me to produce? Honestly i hope not because i have much more faith in all of you. I don't want to believe you all are like this.
I started this channel with the hopes of removing the fear mongering out of the "prepper" mindset, and i will admit many of my successful videos tap into those fears. But i try and present them as a worst case scenario and what we can do about it. Thats its probably never going to happen, but lets just make sure were ready.
I don't do gear reviews and refuse 99.9% of all products offered to me solely because you deserve better. You deserve someone talking to you, explaining the realities of the world to you. Not just trying to shove a new salt water lamp, or some new battery bank, which is what over 80% of the channels you all follow, do. My viewers are not just a paycheck to me. We are a community
I need to know your thoughts, how you all respond will greatly impact the direction of this channel, and the future of the prepared citizen.
Thank you all, Much love to you

Things you should be doing to prepare is now live
I’m wondering why videos like this don’t resonate with the majority of the subscribers? It’s been a while since I’ve seen a video perform this bad.

The new Get Home Bag video is live. It’s 45 minutes long because I wanted to do a complete, unedited breakdown of my bag, my wife's bag, the chest rig setup, and what to actually pack for the kids. I even left the footage in where I accidentally set off pepper spray in the truck. No edits.
If 45 minutes is too long to watch all at once on your phone right now, check out the top pinned comment on the video. I put clickable blue timestamps in there so you can skip straight to whichever bag or gear setup you want to see.

All the hard work, the long days of filming, nights spent editing videos, bad days where I just wanted to give up , you guys made it all worth it! My wife and I thank you all for giving me a reason to keep going!

Question for you all who live in New England, or don’t mind traveling. If I put together a course or single class on practical preparedness would you be interested in taking it?

NEW VIDEO IS UP. We travel to some unsecured infrastructure sites, let me tell you these places are unguarded, no cameras, no real security. It’ll be a disaster if anyone wanted to cause trouble.

Hey everybody. Just wanted to check in with you all. Make sure everybody’s doing well and of course ask you a question. What are our concerns as we go further into 2026? Are we having any bad feelings that something could happen? And not to give you too many things to answer, but what do you guys want to see from the channel as this year progresses?
