Number font previews for the 2026 update of "NASCAR Thunder: Rock & Roll Edition"

The colors aren't final, but an indication of what's to come in the coming weeks.

Again, I'm awaiting for a few things to enhance the mod, but the new acts and paint schemes will be started soon. As I've mentioned, the plan is to have it out well after the Grammys next month.

I'm aiming for early March for the updated release.

(NOTE: The 40 is on here twice because the 2026 Traveller Whiskey paint scheme came out, including a 1978 fantasy scheme)

Certainly shocked of the passing of Michael Annett.

From 2008-2021, Annett was a mainstay in NASCAR's national touring divisions, highlighted by a single Xfinity Series win at Daytona in 2019. A race mostly remember being a single-file train fest, but I'll always remember that race being Annett's shining moment.

It was also the first race of what'll be known as the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series in 2026, that I covered on-location, so the race does bring value in my memories.

My first memories of Michael was his national ARCA victories at Daytona and Talladega in the late 2000s before making the move up to NASCAR.

Regardless of how people view his career, the mark he left will be remembered.

God speed, Michael.

NASCAR THUNDER: ROCK & ROLL EDITION V1.25 UPDATE (NOW AVAILABLE):

- Johnny Cash's portrait and the number font has been updated. I found a better photo that "looks like him" and it's in color too. Also, the number font has changed that resembles Dale Earnhardt's font the best. The previous font was the modern 3 font.

- Both paint schemes of Lady Gaga and Jordan Miller (The Beaches) have been updated to have more contingencies to make it feel less empty.

- Charli XCX's birthday has been corrected to say August 2 instead of August 8 like in the original version.

- When you win with Billie Eilish, it now shows as a female instead of male.

- Kendrick Lamar and Johnny Cash's pit crew victory lane hats have the wrong artist logo (Johnny has Kendrick's while Kendrick has Johnny's). I've tried multiple times to fix this, but they never swap.

It's because they both share the GM Goodwrench Service hat, so I guess it doesn't register the way it's supposed to.

To rectify this, they have a generic Billboard Cup Series hat.
