I want to get something off my chest.

The other day, I spent a late night editing a YT Shorts video that involved doing some VO work and recording as my VTuber self.

It was some of the most fun I've had in a long time. The session was inspiring, motivating, and just a great time.

It was one of those moments that reminded me why I wanted to be a VTuber in the first place.

I feel that for the past 2 years I've been in delulu mode, convincing myself that the VTuber isn't the "real" me, and that IRL was surely better.

I can understand why my viewers saw it as a bizarre U-Turn, since I've always been fascinated by what people can do, expressing our true selves through our virtual avatars.

I've decided to stop fighting my own gut feeling, for the sake of my mental health and my content.

I'm going to return to VTubing, with a side of IRL content. You WILL see Rin Catgirl more often, once again.

Instagram will continue to get IRL photo posts etc. and I will keep on making IRL convention content and skits as well.

But it feels like a relief to finally bring together both sides of me.

Thank you to everyone who has continued to support me throughout this journey. I know that there were many Kitty Paws who left due to my indecisiveness and stubbornness.

I may not be able to get back everyone who's left, but there's always a chance to pick myself back up and get back on the horse.

I ask for your continued support through this, as you all have always been my greatest help. 🩷 Thank you.

Going forward, I will be streaming on Twitch once again.

It’s a new year, and I would like to make more course corrections from past errors.
