Our prayer for you is - Eph 3:16 that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, 17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height - 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, NKJV

Day 1: The Choice of Humility
Reading: James 4:1-10

Devotional: Humility is not a personality trait you're born with—it's a daily decision. God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. This means every morning you wake up with a choice: will you say "I will" like Satan, or "not my will" like Jesus? The battlefield is in your mind, where thoughts present themselves as either pride or humility. When you choose humility, you unlock access to more grace—divine ability to overcome what you cannot conquer in your own strength. Today, examine your heart. Are you trying to figure everything out on your own, or are you acknowledging God in all your ways? Your character, not just your gifting, determines how far God can take you. Choose humility, and watch grace flow.

Reflection Question: What area of your life are you trying to control instead of surrendering to God?

Day 2: The Fall of Pride
Reading: Isaiah 14:12-17; Proverbs 16:18

Devotional: Satan's original sin was pride—five "I will" statements that led to his downfall. Pride overestimates self and underestimates God. It operates independently, saying "I don't need anyone else." But this independent spirit cuts off the flow of grace. When you walk in pride, God actually works against what you're trying to accomplish—not to harm you, but to redirect you. This is divine resistance, the intervention of His loving frustration. God will not empower what He didn't author. Many believers experience constant frustration because they're pushing their own agenda rather than seeking God's plan. Remember: there is a God, and you're not Him. Yielding to His will may bring temporary tears, but it always leads to resurrection power.

Reflection Question: Where are you experiencing frustration that might be God's resistance to your pride?

Part 5 - What if I told you that the amount of grace flowing in your life isn't random? It's actually connected to a choice you make every single day.

God's plan isn't always delivered—sometimes it's discovered as you walk in obedience. Keep moving forward even when doors close. Prove yourself faithful in the small things, and God will open doors no one can shut. Your breakthrough is coming. #Faith #OpenDoors #Obedience

2026 is upon us and God is still on the throne! Pastor Sean was unable to get to the message that he prepared, we ended up taking the whole time in both services sharing about the changes that are taking place at FFC. So this week, we will posting 5 different devotions that will help you prepare and walk through this new year. In our first devotion we are defining what Biblical success looks like. The world had its ideas but God's way is right!

Day 1: Defining Kingdom Success
Reading: 2 Timothy 4:6-8; Philippians 3:12-14 (Read through these passages)

Devotional: Paul's farewell reveals what true success looks like in God's Kingdom. It's not about worldly achievements or New Year's resolutions that fade by February. Success is fighting the good fight, finishing your race, and keeping faith. Like Paul, we must press toward the goal daily, forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what's ahead. This year, ask yourself: Am I measuring success by heaven's standards or earth's applause? The crown of righteousness awaits those who faithfully complete their assignment. Your race is unique to you—run it with endurance, keeping your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith.

Reflection: What does success look like in your walk with Christ this year? Write down one specific way you'll "press toward the goal" this week.

Day 4: Surrendering Your Ishmaels for God's Isaacs

Reading: Genesis 16:1-16; 21:1-21; Galatians 4:21-31

Devotional: Abraham and Sarah tried to fulfill God's promise through their own effort, producing Ishmael. But God's plan was Isaac—the child of promise who would bring laughter. How many Ishmaels have you created by stepping out ahead of God? Projects, relationships, or pursuits born from impatience rather than divine direction? Here's the good news: when Abraham repented and released Ishmael, he was able to move forward with God’s plan, Isaac. God can turn your sorrow into laughter if you'll reject what you manufactured and embrace what He's ordained. This requires brutal honesty in your prayer closet: "Lord, what am I doing that I came up with versus what You told me to do?" Letting go of your Ishmael may be painful, but the joy of walking in God's perfect will far exceeds any temporary loss. Today, surrender your self-made plans and ask God to reveal His Isaac for your life.

Day 3: Accessing Grace Through Humility

Reading: James 4:1-10; Proverbs 3:34

Devotional: "God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble." This isn't a threat; it's an invitation to abundance. Pride kinks the hose of grace, reducing God's flow in your life to a drip. Humility keeps everything flowing freely. When you step out in your own ideas without seeking God's direction, you'll feel resistance everywhere. But when you humble yourself and ask, "Lord, is this You or me?" you position yourself for supernatural favor. God isn't
withholding from you because of imperfect performance—Jesus performed perfectly for you. The question is: will you acknowledge your need for Him? Humility recognizes you're poor in self but rich in God. Today, bring every plan, desire, and decision before the Lord. Say, "I humble myself to You. What do I need to do here?" Then watch grace flood your situation.

Humility (Accessing All Grace) - Part 4
In our latest message on humility Pastor Sean explores a powerful truth: God doesn't need to become stronger—we need to become more submissive. When we align our thinking with His Word and humble ourselves before Him, nothing becomes impossible. Just like the people at the Tower of Babel demonstrated unity's power (even for the wrong purposes), imagine what a unified church walking in humility can accomplish!

Humility (Accessing All Grace) - Part 3

Pride cuts off God's grace, but humility opens the door to His power. God resists the proud to rescue them, not destroy them. When we humble ourselves, He lifts us up. True humility isn't low self-esteem—it's level self-esteem, understanding who we are in Christ. #Humility
