hello hello, i come bearing a (late) christmas present in the form of a new video (alongside the actual BSD team, as the volume 26 cover and confirmation of storm bringer manga adaptation starting in january was released today)!

i know it's been a while since i last posted, and i do want to apologise for that. there are a couple of reasons for this, but to put a long story short:
1. 2024 was an extremely busy year for me, and i had a lot of different life things going on (mostly health and school stuff)
2. i was just a lot less motivated to make videos as a result. i have also generally been a little less engaged with BSD as a series, mostly because again, i've been so busy ;-;
3. i attempted to start a new project! i've subtitled the first three episodes of the french BSD dub (you can find that in my gdrive video archive). i wanted to do more, but again: life was lifing

so, where do we go from here? well, it's been three years since i started posting these silly, over-edited BSD videos. and if i'm being very honest, between the constant threat of getting str!ked and life, i was going to make this recent one (french dub SKK) the last one for this channel, and then call it. and... well, i'm still on the fence on whether or not i will continue to make videos as of current. i also don't want to make any promises for now on what/if i'll be posting either, to make that clear as well.

but that said: just know i be doing my best to stick around for a while longer, if not through videos, then through posts like this! so this is not farewell just yet. i have missed making these videos and interacting with everyone!

i hope though that everyone is enjoying the festive season! 2025 is just around the corner, which is crazy. i am looking forward to whatever craziness asagiri and the story continues to bring us, though!

hello friends! i have an important question, please read this carefully before voting~

so, basically, i've subbed the entire first episode of the BSD french dub in english!

now, i can't post it here on YT because of c*pyright (even as a private/unlisted video, i tried) which is a shame. i wanted to share this with as many people as possible and so that people could interact with it. YT would be one of the more accessible places to do so, but i can't do it here, obviously.

so, i've been looking into patreon as an option to post this and future episodes of the BSD french dub i may translate (as it may be harder for copyright to take things down there). and before anyone yells - don't worry! i DO NOT have *any* plans to put things behind a paywall, because from the start i never ever wanted to monetise this channel in any way (it's just a silly hobby, and i don't post nearly enough to warrant it anyhow!). i tried things out and i can post videos on there for people to access without paying a single cent (i've yet to see if accessing patreon content without an account is possible, so if anyone knows, that would be most helpful!) and things can be organised easier that way.

the other option i thought of was just leaving it in my gdrive video archive - it's actually already in there, along with my translation notes document (the link for this can already be found in the description of this channel). but i'm hesitant to do that, since i know things have limited reach that way, and then if i decide to make more, people won't be notified. of course, i'd post here to let people know, but patreon is a bit more organised this way!

but yeah, that's my dilemma. so i wanted to ask: where would you prefer for me posting this? please know that even if i do post it on a patreon i will still keep everything in my gdrive video archive. or, if anyone has any other suggestions on places i could post it, like dailym*tion etc — please do let me know. i'm at a bit of a loss here!

hello everyone! a quick message from me to say i am alive and happy new year (ft. asagiri-sensei’s message)

to be honest, i was giving myself a bit of a break from content and this platform after the last str!ke i received (because they do wear you down, and i was not feeling very motivated after that).

but, i do plan on making more videos in 2024! thank you to everyone for sticking around despite my very irregular uploading schedule (and we hit 17k subscribers last year! which is insane!)

i hope everyone had a good end to 2023 (probably the most intense year of official bsd content we’ve had!) and that 2024 will be a good year for you too.
