Hey everyone! Got some good and bad news about Arte's Curio Shop -
First the bad news: Arte's Curio Shop will be going back in the vault for a couple days as I retool some issues I was having with the current upload of the film. This is not a decision I make lightly but one that I think will improve the viewing experience to make it better for everybody. While don't think this will do me any favors with the algorithm, I think it will be a benefit to you, my real human viewers! IT WILL BE BACK SOON, ON THIS CHANNEL and ready to be watched any time you like!

Now for the good news: you! You guys have showed up for this film in a big way and this has otherwise been a very happy and perfect premiere! I have loved reading your comments and they have brought me such joy and encouragement. I wish I could respond to all of them, but since the video is now unlisted I will tell all you now here: THANK YOU SO MUCH! Our team really wanted to bring a warm, analog, old-school experience packed with more easter eggs than a Cadbury factory to you and I'm glad that idea is resonating strong! So happy so see other Webkinz, indie animation, and analog fans out there! Please keep the conversation going when the video's back on either Monday or Tuesday and I'll be there with ya!

hey everybody! background paintings for my next cartoon are DONE!

to celebrate here's a ✨studio photo✨ where i'm rocking the bangs-pulled-back look that everyone's saying will be the next big thing. i think it will catch on soon!

the paintings for this cartoon were all done on paper by hand which meant this step took quite a bit longer than i expected. next up is character animation! thanks for bearing with me through the production process, i want this film to be the best it can be for you guys, and am so excited for you to watch it!!

Another favorite BG of mine from Bearpuncher! One summer during college I worked in courthouses around North Carolina inventorying furniture - this piece was heavily inspired by those memories and courtrooms! Lots of beautiful woodwork, especially in the Asheville courthouse.
