YouTube Team responded on Twitter! TL;DR -> videos that encourage people to stream in order to increase adsense revenue are considered “FAKE ENGAGEMENT” therefore against their policies. This is super unfortunate but YouTube also mentioned that they will be donating to racial injustice initiatives to acknowledge these efforts over the past week. I assume that it means our efforts didn’t completely go down the drain??? What do you think??
Hey everyone, some of you already know that the “stream to donate” video got taken down, and i’m here to update that the appeal request was rejected. This is unfortunate since we had collected $2500 at that point, and probably more - to avoid future problems with YouTube, I’ve decided not to re-upload.
I am super thankful for everyone who helped out watch all the ads, and commenting all the fun stuff to keep everyone entertained 💕 but going forward please do watch others’ videos that are still up!!
Eventhough content muting is over this week, let’s all continue to have uncomfortable conversations and keep educating ourselves and people around us!! Keep signing petitions, keep sharing resources to those who aren’t educated. Tell everyone “Normalize changing opinions after learning something new, it is OK” I really wanna print this and hand it out to everyone I know LOL!
All that effort didn’t go away for nothing, because this video project really showed how big and strong we can be if we come together and keep fighting for a strong cause. 💕 and of course... #blacklivesmatters!!

Remember, that it's never too late to jump in the conversation and second to continue having these difficult conversations with our friends and family surround us. This is a good way to help if you aren't based in USA like myself. It's been 30 hours since the video went live, just wanna let you know we've raised $289.82 so far and I believe the revenue information might be slightly lag-ish, so I'll keep updating here on my community tab.
