This channel was originally meant to be a prayer channel, and while I think these channels are much needed, I somehow morphed into telling stories about saints. (Hence, my channel name "Let's Pray the Rosary", although I may switch it in the future.) From the time I was a little girl, I've been fascinated by the saints! That fascination has continued, and I want others to be fascinated as well! I dig hard and deep into each story, trying to bring out facts that not everyone knows or has heard in other stories. So please enjoy my little library of saints and spread the stories! (hmmm, possibly a new channel name?๐คจ)

Hi everyone! We have had something amazing happen here! You may have already seen the short I created about it, but for those who haven't, we have had a cure from Sr. Annella Zervas, who is in the process of being canonized, for my 13-year-old son, Henry! Henry has suffered immensely for the past year and a half from IBS-c and an allergy/intolerance to fructose, which is in everything! His symptoms were DAILY, not weekly or once in a while, but every single day for a year and a half, of severe stomach cramping, bloating, fatigue and nausea. He's only doing online school because of this, has a 504 to give him access to be in the bathroom whenever he needs, and even with this, he has been failing his classes because he's missed so much school. I haven't been able to bring him to church consistently for a year and a half because the cramping was so bad for him. Once in a while I could bring him but he would always end up in the bathroom! We ended up making a system of texting him once the consecration was beginning so he could come to receive holy Communion (the whole reason why I made him go!)--so don't judge people if you see them texting people during Mass! You never know what's going on! It got to the point that the priest allowed me to bring holy communion home to Henry, and there was some comfort in that, but I wanted him to go to Mass--as my mom pointed out to me, we are there at Calvary, the sacrifice of the Mass--and that is important. At Henry's age of 13, I have been worried about his soul and without the sacraments, without being at prayer time every night because he was so sick, he hasn't been getting the same spiritual care as his sibilings. I had prayed every day about this, novenas, chaplets and so on, feeling like God wasn't listening, but knowing He was, but confused about what to do.
Needless to say, he has seen doctors and specialists this entire time, and nothing worked. He had tests that all came back normal, except for the same diagnosis of fructose intolerance and IBS-c. He had physical therapy to help with pelvic floor dysfunction, but his therapist said he actually had a very strong core. He saw a therapist for nervous stomach. And yes, we did diets. It isn't as easy as you think to avoid fructose. His diet had to be cut way down and he was missing out on nutrients. It was a lose-lose either way.
Then as I was doing my research for another saint, I came across Sr.Annella Zervas, who lives only an hour and a half from me! I learned that her cause was possibly going to be opened soon and that many cures were happening at her grave. I asked my family if they would like to do a small one day road trip to St.Joseph, MN, and off we went to visit her grave! All of the graves look the same and I searched on my own (my family went to a gas station to go to the bathroom) for 15 minutes and couldn't find it. When they came back--Henry found the grave--out of hundreds--within 20 seconds! He said it was "obvious" ๐(it wasn't.) We sat at her grave and prayed to Sr.Annella for a cure for Henry, and if a cure wasn't granted, then the grace to carry this cross. We then prayed a rosary. Henry's cure was IMMEDIATE. His entire demeanor changed. He was upbeat, full of energy, and happy. He hasn't been like that for a year and a half! He has been in too much pain and understandably cranky because of it. On the way home, we stopped to eat pizza--knowing that it could make Henry sick--but we hadn't thought to bring food---he did not get sick. He ate regular food the rest of the day--he did not get sick! He has eaten food he wasn't able to eat for months, and not once has he gotten sick! We are so used to Henry being in the bathroom that it's almost unusual to see the bathroom free! He is doing things he hasn't done in months--being a regular kid again, happy, cheerful, teasing his brothers and sisters, and full of energy!
Yesterday, on the feast of the Assumption, and also Sr.Annella's death day-- Henry went to church for the first time in months. He was not sick. For the first time in a year and a half, he has been able to sit throughout the entire Mass. I didn't have to text him to come receive. Our priest was so happy and couldn't believe it--he knew what we have been through this past year and a half and has been trying to help in any way he could.
Sorry for talking your ear off but I have been so excited! I want to share this miracle as I promised I would and I want people to know about Sr.Annella. God wants her to be known! If you haven't seen my video on her, please do!

If you want to get rid of habitual sin--we need to pray for true repentance. The way to get there is by focusing on Jesus's sufferings. I promise this works (over time). Ways to focus on Jesus's sufferings are praying the Sorrowful Mystery, praying the Stations of the Cross, and spiritual reading. I will be working on some videos of St.Bridget of Sweden and her visions. They are private revelations, so we are free to believe or disregard them completely, but they are deemed "good for the soul" by the Church. For myself, I need inspiration, so I read!
"The Mother of God spoke (to St.Bridget), saying: 'At my Son's death I was like a woman who had her heart pierced by five lances. The first lance was his shameful and blameworthy nakedness, for I saw my most chaste and mighty Son stand naked at the pillar without any covering on him at all. The second lance was the accusation against him, for they accused of treason and lying and treachery him whom I knew to be just and true and never to have offended or wished to offend anyone. The third lance was his crown of thorns that pierced his sacred head so savagely that the blood flowed into his mouth and beard and ears. The fourth lance was his mournful voice on the cross with which he cried out to the Father, saying: ย 'Father, why have you abandoned me?' It was if to say: 'Father, there is no one who takes pity on me but you.' The fifth lance cutting into my heart was his most bitter death. His most precious blood went out of him through as many arteries as the lances that pierced my heart. The arteries of his hands and feet were pierced, and the pain in his pierced sinews went relentlessly to his heart and from his heart back to his sinews, for his heart was vigorous and strong, being knit together of the very best constitution. Life contended thus with death, and his life was more bitterly protracted in the midst of his pain. As his death drew near and his heart was bursting from the unendurable pain, suddenly his whole body convulsed and his head, which was hanging backward, straightened itself somewhat. ย He opened his closed eyes slightly, almost halfway. Likewise he opened his mouth so that his bloodied tongue could be seen. His fingers and arms, which had been quite contracted, stretched themselves out. As soon as he had given up his spirit, his head sank toward his chest. His hands drew a little away from the place of the wounds and his feet had to bear more of the weight. Then my hands grew dry. My eyes were covered in darkness and my face became pale as death. My ears could hear nothing. My mouth could not utter a sound. ย My feet became unsteady, and my body fell to the ground.'"

As I had done last year, I will be playing a series of videos on the visions of Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich. A lot of people seemed to find them helpful, including myself. I will also continue with my regular saint videos, so you should be getting double the content! The videos of Blessed Anne Catherine was made last year, with a different editing platform, so I'm sorry if the music is too loud in some of the videos. That's one of the reasons why I changed platforms--because with my last one the volume was really hard to figure out (it wasn't showing how loud it was in reality until it was processed.) Also, some of the videos have music that is now copyright (although it wasn't last year), so if there's some awkward gaps of music, I'm sorry. I hope you can overlook this for now until I correct them as I'm able. Hopefully you can offer the irritation it might bring up for the conversion of sinners.๐

Hello everyone,
Thank you for responding to my last post. I read each comment and considered each one (suggestions and also advice.) It's been on my mind for a loooong time (months) to change the channel name as it has changed into more of a story telling channel, but I didn't want to act on impulse so I have been praying a lot about it. I always have considered this as Our Lady's channel. Anyway, long story short, I asked God for a name if He wanted me to change it and if not, let me have peace. And during Mass yesterday, the words "wholly Catholic" came to mind and it just clicked for me as to what I want my channel to be about. I added "2B" just to keep it original. I know not all of you agree and that's ok--but I have to follow my inner promptings! So from now, please keep your eyes open for videos on 2bWholly Catholic! Thank you for being so supportive on my channel!

I have been considering changing my channel's name, since my content is primarily about the saints. Not sure when that will happen, but stay tuned! I'm still waiting for inspiration for a new name! Any suggestions are appreciated!

Thank you for the prayers! The surgery went well, although it was more than we expected. I had an abdominal wall reconstruction for my very big diastasis recti, and because was so stretched out for 20 years, it was as thin as cellophane! The doctor couldn't make even a stich or it would tear, so he had to make a new abdominal wall for me. Second, my appendiex looked abnormally large and discolored so they took that out too--turns out it was full of cancer. Thankfully, because they removed the appendix, the cancer was contained but it was within weeks of bursting. (Or days, I really don't know.) I will need to follow up with pathoglogy to make sure everything stays cancer-free, but let's all thank God for His goodness! He just keeps proving Himself over and over!
I haven't been discharged yet but will let you know when the next video will be out. Thank you!

Hello! I am having surgery tomorrow (abdominal wall reconstruction) and I will be in the hospital for a few days. I have scheduled a video for later in the week--I am sorry if you've already seen the stories (repeats.) I just didn't have enough time to research and write another story, but guess what I'll be doing during my recovery? Yes, of course, reading about a saint! I ask for your prayers for a safe surgery tomorrow--it is 1:00 pm central time if you want to be exact ๐ I am nervous but trusting God with it all. Hope to get another video out soon!

Still sick but turning a corner! I am working on my next video of St.Margaret Mary! Turns out she was not as perfect as I thought, which is actual a comfort for someone like me, haha. I am hoping to have the video up by early next week. Stay tuned.
