Hey everyone — especially my fellow dentists who follow me for TOEFL iBT advice.

So I just found out something today that honestly surprised me: it's not just India where people are taking the Home Edition of the TOEFL iBT — it’s also happening in places like Cameroon. That means this whole “TOEFL from home” situation is way bigger than I thought.

In certain cases, there are people asking for thousands of dollars to guarantee high TOEFL scores — we’re talking 40+ point jumps in a single test, and even perfect scores in specific sections. I know this might sound crazy, but it’s real. Some students are paying for those scores — and it’s happening more than people want to admit.

To my fellow dentists out there, especially those trying to get licensed or apply for programs: I’m going to be real with you, but I mean this kindly. You can “fake it till you make it” in places like Puerto Rico (which, by the way, is where my mom is from), but only up to a point.

After that, reality catches up — especially in professional environments like ours, where language skills matter for patient care and safety.

Also, just something to keep an eye on: ETS (the company behind TOEFL) seems to be shifting directions. The TOEFL is slowly starting to look more like Duolingo, especially with their current CEO — who, by the way, is from India. With that in mind, I highly doubt they’re going to start laying off thousands of Indian or African contractors or test facilitators. So yeah, this whole thing might be more about business than fairness. Just keeping it real for those of you who think that the EXAM will be easier after Jan 21st.

Bottom line: you can choose to risk the Home Edition, or just go take your test at a BrainSeed testing center or another official location. That choice is up to you.

Now — I know some of you may have heard of a student this year named Carmelita who’s said she wouldn’t recommend me. Just for transparency, here’s the deal: she never finished her hours with me, ghosted me, and she said she didn’t like her Statement of Purpose — which felt more like a personal issue than professional feedback. And now, after three years, she’s still talking? That’s fine. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but let’s also be fair.

If I really wasn’t good at what I do, why would I have so many success stories? For any past student reading this — feel free to drop your honest thoughts in the comments. You know what we did together, and you know the results.

Let’s get a few things straight.

It’s come to my attention — again — that some folks in WhatsApp and Telegram groups are out here running their mouths, saying I’m not the one to go to for TOEFL coaching. Let me tell you something: I’ve been in this game for 6 years. And I’ve delivered every step of the way.⁣
⁣
Dentists. Nurses. Pharmacists. From the Philippines to Brazil to Peru, Cuba, Mexico — my students are now LICENSED professionals in the U.S.⁣
⁣
But these same low-agency individuals, who have been studying TOEFL for more than 3 years, don’t talk about that.
⁣
They’d rather whisper and complain in their little corners, like the student who said “I read the SOP and didn’t like it” — only to end up in a dental residency... without a word. Like I said, 2022-2023, I had maybe a dozen students who didn’t like me, with bad attitudes, and ALL got into residency programs, without them telling me their TOEFL scores or about their accomplishments — hmmmmm.

Let me be very clear:⁣

I’m not for the weak-minded. I’m not here to babysit. I’m not gonna hold your hand like I do with my 4-year-olds here in Thailand.⁣

If you come to me, you better come with FIRE. You better be coachable. That’s the keyword.⁣
⁣
Those who succeed under me do so because they show up with discipline, accountability, and vision. Not entitlement. Not excuses.⁣
⁣
And let’s stop pretending — the hate ain’t about my coaching. It’s about my personality. You have to send me your essays, you have to inform me of your progress every Friday and tell me your shortfalls. You have to tell me every little detail to the TEE, so that we can get that score, like many others have.

If you want a pity party, go find a support group, a WhatsApp and telegram group, that is. If you want results? I’m that guy.
⁣
This might be my last TOEFL season — I’m not here forever. But while I’m here, understand:⁣

You either rise with personal agency or sink with excuses.

Whites of Amerikka, hear me now and clearly. First, yes, I’m brown, of probably 4-7 ethnicities (no, idiots, that doesn’t mean race), and born and raised in Amerikkka. I saw some recent comments, on my videos, of whyte “Christian WHITE NATIONALISTS” saying that I, am a horrible person.

This has come about because I commented on various videos about a whyte nationalist death, a whyte that got shot in his throat, and his downfall. Now, whytes of murikkka blame Trans/Gay, but you know, having been born in the 80s, I know what WHYTE evil is, as a Blockbuster manager falsely accusing me of stealing, yes, stealing video cassette tapes out of a blockbuster. Although there were videos, the Metropolitan Police Department of Las Vegas, in brown uniforms, ignored it. As an African American, and my mother never prepared me for amerikkkans.So, I was fortunately cut loose.


WHYTE nationalism. The day before my high school band, got the MASSIVE OVATION and literally almost made finals, that night, — the night before, I was called a niggggggrrr, on the block that I grew up in — the block that my father bought the house in, by a whyte.

You can say what you want, but to spew nationalism, prejudice, r8cism all you want, I, too, am American, can call out the Amerikkkans, and if you say Japan is no longer Japan because of muslims, I will call it out. But to have whyte nationalists in my comment section, after their predecessors invaded THE united states, not capitalized, America (native Americans, and yes, I’m 17% Native American), is absolutely FUNNY.

So, for the 3k subscribers, this isn’t about race, bigotry, r8cism, but more about me defending myself from the WHYTES of amerikkka that invaded the country, Juan Ponce De Leon — yes, I did a 45-minute presentation on the monster of Spain, if you want to unsubscribe. Phuck politics. Phuck everything that’s happening in Murikkka. Do you believe in equality? Stay. The rest, GO. I’m hoping 300 subscribers less, and I’m absolutely grateful. Best of luck.
