Iran has placed 7 demands for a ceasefire with the US and Israel:

Security Guarantees

My thoughts: The most crucial demand here is No. 6 — Freedom for the missile program. The US will never compromise on this, because it directly affects its national security. If Iran gets full freedom to develop missiles, those same missiles could be used against the US or its allies in the future. Looking at these demands, it doesn’t seem like Iran truly wants a ceasefire.
