If there is ONE thing you do as a Parent, please SHARE the history of Slavery in Nigeria with your Children, they need to know EVERYTHING that Went down. I visited the Badagry Slave Museums, Route and Markets yesterday and I CRIED like a BABY. our Fore fathers suffered too much for this History to NOT be preserved and told to the next generation.

My God is Faithful!

On my way home from church this afternoon a man ran into my car with full force, all I heard was a car crash and I lost control of my stirring, I remembered screaming Jesus multiple times. I came down thinking my car was gone only to see just a mere dent, Is God not Faithful?

I do not judge Ladies that do the famous BBL or any cosmetic surgery, you know why? "INSECURITIES IS REAL" especially body dysmorphia which I have struggled with and still partially struggle with.

I remember when I entered one chance in September 2017 and was pushed out of a Moving Keke, I cracked 2 of my front tooth, and that just built a lot of insecurities in me. There was no compliment my Friends, Partner, Family and even Random people didn't give me at this time to make me feel better because I was always complaining about it. Someone told me it gave me a beautiful look, another person said "it fits me a lot" however I was not onboard with this new look at all. I felt insecure, I struggled to smile in pictures and even in real life, I was always pouting. I continued like this for 5 years until May 2022 I told myself enough is enough, at this point I had saved up 200,000 naira for a procedure and I went for it, that procedure gave me my confidence back, it was like I lost 5 years of my life being insecure about this. So my take home here is if there is something making you insecure, be it your weight, your body shape basically anything you can change "SAFELY" emphasis on “SAFELY”, Please go ahead.
