A healthy mind is the greatest treasure you can keep. Taking a step today to work on your mind will help you lead a better tomorrow. You're not alone — I've been through worse, and I’m here to ride you through it. Reach out.
I've battled all my life but survived. I've fallen and risen. You can too.
It takes strength, but it's possible. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
🧠💔 To help others heal, I now tell stories — through films and series that speak to real mental health struggles. Every episode I create reflects the pain, survival, and silent battles many people live with. These aren’t just stories — they are therapeutic journeys wrapped in drama, emotion, and truth.
🎬 Expect bold, raw, and relatable films that touch on depression, emotional abuse, trauma, anxiety, resilience, and healing.

MY MENTAL ASYLUM UGANDA
Last night, I heard something I will never forget. The girls we all know by day as prostitutes were being flogged and crying outside. At first, I thought it was thieves being beaten, but in the morning my neighbor narrated to me that these girls are often beaten by their bosses whenever they fail to get customers. She told me this happens frequently — the girls are lined up on the street in the middle of the night and forced to pick up any man that comes along. If a girl refuses, even if the man is drunk or mentally unstable, she is flogged. Before being put on the street, many of them are intoxicated with alcohol and drugs to push them into compliance.
What an evil world!
Everywhere I turn, in bars and local lodges, I see young women whose lives are trapped in prostitution. Most of them are in their 20s, many from Western and Eastern Uganda, but what breaks me most is that in over 30 bars I have stepped into across Eastern Uganda, I have seen girls as young as 16 being pulled into this life.
The pain I see in these girls’ eyes is visible. It is the look of broken dreams, of daughters and sisters who should have had better chances. These are not just “girls in bars.” They are human beings with untold stories, struggling silently in a society that has normalized their suffering.
We talk about human trafficking abroad, like what happened with Abbey of Dubai, but the same tragedy is unfolding right here in Uganda, in plain sight.
I cannot remain silent. Government ministries, churches, community leaders, and even ordinary citizens must open their eyes and act. These girls need more than pity and judgment — they need opportunities. They need safe shelters, skills programs, and empowerment projects that can pull them out of this cycle. They need a system that protects them instead of ignoring them.
How can we save these girls and empower them into something that can truly save their lives?
Which ministry is responsible for this in Uganda?
If this is the female future we dream of...?? We need to act now!

Trauma does not define us. It's a part of us, a part of our past, but we are more than what happened to us. Wounds of the soul heal slowly but they can heal. Be patient with yourself & know you didn't deserve it and no matter what it WAS NOT your fault.

“Be like the trees who take up sun, rain, and root. Do not deny yourself the ground you occupy or you will begin to disappear. Do not deny yourself your needs, or you will become bitter and resentful. Allow yourself the right to be alive, to be breath-taking. With every inhale and exhale, there is more room to expand.” – Rebekah Gallou
