As many of you know and have heard by now, Bishops unfortunate passing on Sunday has taken a lot of us by surprise.

There is no easy exit date and nothing can prepare you for someone’s moment.

Unfortunately, the path to Nick’s exit was an expensive one as he spent every last dollar trying to stay alive fighting in the medical system.

On Sunday March 30th, 2025 our brother, friend and former vice president of KOTD operations @bishopbrigante passed away after a long battle with cancer.

There are no words that can summarize Bishops contributions not only to KOTD, or the Toronto scene, but his impact on world wide battle rap.

KOTD, simply would not be where it is today without Bishop. From his first celebrity appearance to becoming a mainstay co host and eventually the vice president of the company; his presence continually elevated the brand.

Bishop’s contributions to KOTD exceeded beyond what most could see. His close friendships with Organik & Gully were pivitol in creating some of the most memorable moments in KOTD history.

He provided guidance, knowledge and embraced a big brother role within the company and his friends.

His presence will be deeply missed.

We send our condolences out to Lito, Mel & all the family & friends of Bishop.

We’re going to miss ya big guy.
Intros won’t be the same without you.
Battle rap weekends won’t be the same without you.
