lol little update on my football life rn!

My first game was yesterday! And… well.. it was a complete disaster. First off, it took us an hour to get there because it was an away game. Linda annoying but yk it was whatever. Next we get there and we do all of our warmups and the game is about to start! Game starts and I kid you not we get FOUR SNAPS IN and sirens start blowing. There was thunder in the area.

Now I know what you are thinking - why siren for just thunder? And to be completely honest I have no clue 😂. They tell everyone to get indoors or in their car. So we go indoors AND I CANNOT MAKE THIS UP WE SIT IN THERE FOR 2 WHOLE DAMN HOURS!!!

Then the ref comes in and says “ if the thunder doesn’t clear up in thirty minutes then we will cancel the game. And tbh the whole team and I lowkey kinda wanted to go home, but also didn’t wanna have had to wait 2 hours plus an extra hour to get there just for it to be cancelled 😡

I kid you not 2 minutes before the game was gonna be cancelled our coaches come in and tell us they are going to resume the game! We are all super happy that all the waiting finally paid off! We get out there and do our practices for 5 minutes and continue the game.

We get a good solid quarter and a half in before we hear and see a familiar sight. We hear sirens and see a huge lightning bolt race across the sky. As soon as I saw that you can’t even imagine how much anger rose through my body. And who would’ve thought the loudspeaker came on and told everybody that the game was cancelled…

WE WERE GONNA WIN THAT GAME AS WELL! Score was 0-2 and both of our offensives were trash but our defensives were good. We totally could’ve came back and whooped their ahh if it wasn’t for the stupid weather. Who do I blame? Refs. They totally could’ve checked the radar before hand and could’ve easily saw the rain and thunder coming. But they’re lazy so whatever.

Game got cancelled not even rescheduled and we would’ve won it. What a way to start our season opener!

Not gonna lie the views have gone down, and to be fair I think my era is over. Not sayin I’m quitting just saying my “fame” has driven down. Thought maybe posting a video every two days would mean thousand views? Wrong. Not even 100. Been fun 🫡
