Subject: Finding Rest for Your Soul, Body, and Mind

Biblical Self-Care: Soul, Body, and Mind

Taking care of yourself isn’t just a modern idea. Scripture shows us that God designed a rhythm of work and rest. Are you making space for your soul, body, and mind to rest and recharge in Him? Here are three simple ways to refocus this week:

1. Rest for the Soul: Spend Time With God
Life feels lighter when you pause to meet with God daily. Psalm 46:10 says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” Set aside even just 10 minutes to pray or read Scripture. It doesn’t have to be perfect—just honest.

2. Care for Your Body: Honor the Temple
Your body is a gift from God. 1 Corinthians 6:19 reminds us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. Move, eat well, drink water, and embrace the rest your body needs. Being healthy can deepen your relationship with God.

3. Focus Your Mind: Guard What You Take In
Be mindful of what fills your thoughts. Philippians 4:8 encourages us to think about things that are true, noble, and pure. Turn down the noise of negativity by reducing screen time or distractions, even for a moment.

Prayer for You This Week
Lord, help us trust you with our time, our energy, and our hearts. Teach us to care for what you’ve given us—our bodies, our minds, and our souls. Let us find rest in you. Amen.

Start small. God isn’t calling us to perfection, but to progress toward Him. This week, take one step and see how He meets you there.

Have a restful and renewing week ahead!
