Been watching some videos going over the laughable mess that is Aquatica. I heard one person theorize on X that snail games may have been trying to see if they could replace Wildcard with a much cheaper, less demanding studio that wouldn’t give them as much trouble as Wildcard does. A studio that would be more willing to give them all the micro transactions and crap that they want and not push back against their stupidity. So (maybe) this was an effort to see if a little 10 person studio could make a map just as good and just as popular as anything Wildcard made. Because Snail has so little respect for Wildcard and don’t really understand what they have. It really seems like they’re just so bound and determined to cook their golden goose.
I hope Wildcard is keeping an eye on the Subnautica situation. For those not aware… Look into it. The developers of Subnautica are suing their publisher…

So I went through and removed the ads on all my streams from this year so far, and now I'm going back through and removing them on some of the popular livestream playlists. So if you are looking for something fun to put on the tv to watch while you do other stuff, or if you like listening to streams while falling asleep, my streams are now a great AD FREE option!
If you appreciate getting them all ad-free, it would mean a lot if you'd go over and check out my Patreon. Even at the free tier... So I've decided to try something. I'm going to stop playing ads on my livestreams. It's really pointless, they pay so little. One new channel member or $5 superchat and I make more than I would have made from the ads anyway on even a 5 hour stream, and it's not worth it for how disruptive the ads are on your experience. I'd rather viewers be able to turn on the streams to watch live or binge watch them later and not have ads intruding all the time. So, turning off the ads from now on. Any ads you still see, are baked-in ones that Youtube is playing and there's nothing I can do about them.
