So a lot of people have been asking about the cosmetics I was wearing in my stream yesterday, of @mikiesGamingOasis ' 2 year channel anniversary. I promised to look up the name after the stream, so here you go!
It's a set I downloaded on a whim, from a mod without many pictures... and I had never tried it before the stream. But from the previews in-game I thought they looked so very "extra" they just seemed perfect lol. So I checked my mod list and I'm pretty sure it's this one. Made by a Chinese modder, so the name in English is just a bunch of letters and numbers. Absolutely beautifu, and incredible level of detail. If anyone knows this modder please ask them to contact me, I'd love to send them pictures for them to add to the mod listing.

Hello my fine-feathered friends!
Over the past couple of years I’ve tried to help as many people on Youtube and Discord as possible with their server questions, for free. Especially with INI settings and server setup. I’m really glad my channel and discord have turned into a useful place for that.
As more people have asked for 1-on-1 help, I’ve hit a point where I can’t realistically keep doing that for hours every week, indefinitely, without burning out. So I’ve opened up a small, limited Patreon tier for people who want direct help with their servers.
This is not replacing the free resources here or on Discord. My community server INI files and the general troubleshooting discussion, and the beefy FAQ section, all stay freely available.
This is just for folks who want hands-on troubleshooting, one on one help, ini or mod list building or someone to generally sanity check things with them. Or just to have someone "on call" in case something goes wrong. For those who want general peace of mind, as a server owner.
I'm calling this tier Nest Builders, and it comes with up to 2 hours per month of customized, one on one help with your server, if you need it.
Since my time is limited, and I want to be able to give each member one on one support, I'm only opening this to up to 10 members.

Thanks so much everyone for an amazing year! Hope you have a warm and wonderful Christmas with loved ones, lots of good food, and if you are having a rough time this holiday, I hope you know that you are loved, and no matter how rough it is now... hang in there, things will get better.
Hope we all reach out to family and friends near and far, and show kindness to neighbors (even annoying ones) and even strangers.
In Ark, I hope you find that elusive event-colored level 150, hope all your adventures are exciting (but not *too* exciting), hope your babies get double health mutations, hope all the loot drops have great loot (for a change lol) and hope Raptor Claus brings you something nice. And hopefully you don't get into too many death spirals.
That's a lot of hopes... but they are all for you.

Well, the weather itself is fighting against me... I wanted to stream today, was planning on it, but a bunch of IRL stuff came up. And now ASA has an update that's taking forever, and it's storming outside... heavy wind and rain, and there's a pretty decent chance we might lose power. And it's already 4pm here... 8pm on the East coast.
So, I think I'd be better off doing a nice long stream tomorrow. Sorry!

**Back up your game saves!**
Lost Colony is going to change a LOT and possibly break stuff. Having an archived save that you could roll back to if needed, is priceless for peace of mind. And it only takes a minute. There is also a way to do this in-game now, so console players will want to use that option! Make sure to make a backup of your save, before installing Lost Colony. I made this video right before the last engine update, but it walks you through the process of backing up single player saves on PC.
Server owners can back up their saves through FTP or there's also a way to do it inside Nitrado if you are playing on a console, but have a rented server.

I'm curious, those of you who enjoy watching Ark building videos and/or streams.
Do you prefer to watch someone create something that you could realistically build yourself, if you follow along with them? Using base game parts and methods, but combining them in a way that you, too can build the same cool thing?
Or do you like watching people create fanciful, complex structures you didn't even think were possible, using a combination of mods and complicated building techniques you may not want to take time to learn? Just for the spectacle and inspiration of it? Even if you wouldn't want to take the time to try something like that yourself? I'd love to know more details in the comments.
