This video still has a click through rate (CTR) of 8.6% as we speak. An average view duration (AVD) of 9+ minutes yet only 9k impressions and 1k views after 17 hours. Btw, i’ve never had a community guidelines violation. I create clean trucking content. This beyond frustrating. 😡😡
For over a year, I've sought answers from youtube. They've done nothing but beat around the bushes, so I think it's time that I make this public.
Here's just a little behind the scenes of what I've been going through with youtube. This is what youtube has done to my channel for the past 14 months. After days of extensive research using the services of ChatGPT (and going through every single analytics available since I started this channel in 2023), they've confirmed what I've speculated all along. Youtube has basically only been showing my content to a select few of my subscribers and returning viewers with each video that I've uploaded since August of 2024. Each video is only shown to a very small percentage (less than 10%) of potential new viewers. I've never had any community guidelines or copyright violations. I don't use profanity. I create clean trucking content. This all started when I voluntarily took the "inclusiveness" survey in August of 2024. The slides (photos) at the end illustrates my channel's viewership prior to taking the "inclusiveness" survey and what followed immediately after. Btw, for those who are curious about what the "inclusiveness" survey is. The "inclusiveness" survey has about 7 questions. Two of which you are asked "what is your sex and race?". The other 5 questions are questions that relates to being a member of the LGBTQ community (which I'm not). I took the survey and answered each question accurately.
Over the past 14 months, I've evolved as a content creator, uploaded more frequently, got 10 times better at editing, but yet youtube continues to deliberately suppress my content. To say I'm frustrated is an understatement. I'm actively trying to figure out what the best course of action is. The proof is right in front of your eyes. Attached are a few of the screenshots from some of my conversations with ChatGPT.
Anyways... I dropped a new video yesterday. That video had a click-through rate of 9% and rank 1 of 10 (of my previous 10 uploads). Over 24 hours later, and a channel with 250k subscribers is suppressed to just 2k views. Youtube isn't recommending it to potentially new viewers so here's the link below.
Beyond grateful 🙏🏽. 2 years and 3 months into my youtube journey, I surpassed 250k subscribers. Pat yourself on the back, Marvin! You deserve this! I accomplished this achievement without ever using a single word of profanity, without compromising my integrity and values, and most importantly, unapologetically BOLD in my faith that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior.
