On October 7th, Yohai Dukhan, Nimrod Eliraz, and Itay Avraham Ron heroically defended the Nahal Oz base against terrorists for six hours. They evacuated lookouts from a burning building before Yohai and Itay, out of ammunition, refused surrender and charged the attackers, sacrificing their lives. Their bravery saved many.

When the Israeli National Anthem was played, the Swiss Fencing Team, which won second place, turned their backs to dishonor Israel.
