I guess I'm back now. I know, one month is way too short of a time's notice. I did start using NewPipe on my phone, and I've started to get spoiled by the app's built-in download feature due to me being a hardcore archivist these days. Don't take this as me wanting to upload here again, I'm still not falling down that hole after what happened on January, so don't expect any new uploads from me anytime soon.

Welp. I am officially quitting YouTube. I never thought I'd say this, but it was inevitable from the very start.

Unfortunately there is no viable alternative for... rather complicated reasons, but I've feared that the worst was about to come. And that worst being the AI-powered verification system that it's put into play. Frankly, I am NOT showing Google my government ID anytime soon as not only is it an invasion of privacy but it's a severe safety risk due to how often data breaches have been happening as of late. So in order to preserve my safety on the Internet, I have to leave this entire platform as soon as I possibly can. Don't worry, my channel's not being deleted. However, I can't ensure that my videos will stay up as the verification system will private my uploads if it detects me being under 18, which is absolutely ridiculous. So today, I'll be archiving all of my videos and I'll be sure to find a way to upload them to a proper alternative, if it ever comes on. Which I honestly hope to God it does eventually, otherwise I'll just host a website of my own or something. It's not going to give my videos views, but I could honestly care less at this point. I'll link you the website via Bluesky whenever possible.
