Amy's Louisiana Kitchen

Would love for you to join me in my kitchen and on my cattle farm. I have always loved to cook since I was old enough to remember. I learned from my Mother and Grandmother's and have kept that same style of cooking. Some recipes are authentic Louisiana while others are just country cooking. All are delicious and I take you step by step as we visit so you can make the same flavorful recipe at home. I also am always trying new recipes and sharing with you. I love for you to just sit back with a cup of coffee or a glass of tea and let me tell you stories and entertain you while we cook. I also try to convert some of my recipes into quick no-talking videos for when you need to hop on and cook. I love on my family with food and treats. Lots of my videos include my family. Sometimes I'll get you to get your walking shoes on and we will stroll around the pastures and see the new calves born. I have made many friends here and we pray for one another.

I first saw Paula Deen make these over 20 years ago. They are so quick and easy and a real crowd pleaser. They will haunt you in the night though😄make you get right out of bed to grab a bite. Recipe in 1st comment. 😊🤎👇⬇️

18.3-ounce box Chewy Brownie Mix
(Mixed according to directions)
1 cup Dark Brown Sugar
5 Tablespoons Butter, melted
1 cup chopped Fresh Pecans
(1) Preheat oven to 350-degrees F
(2) Prepare brownie mix according to directions
(3) Spread into a buttered 9 x 13 inch baking dish
(4) Mix the brown sugar, melted butter and pecans in a bowl. Sprinkle over the top of the brownie mix.
(5) Bake 30 minutes or until the center is done. Let cool a bit and enjoy.

Have you ever had Cheese Slaw? Super quick and easy to make resulting in super flavor. It's good on a hot dog, hamburger or even a grilled Cheese Slaw sandwhich!!! But my favorite is on a cracker as I pass by the fridge heading out to my next project.
