Big news—this week we’re in San Francisco filming an episode of Fish The West with none other than George Revel, the owner of Lost Coast Outfitters, national casting champion, and one of the most influential voices in urban fly fishing.
George helped put fly fishing on the map in the Bay Area—reviving the historic Golden Gate casting club, building a tight-knit urban fly fishing community, and proving that even on a foggy beach just outside the city, you can still chase giants on the fly.
We’ll be fishing the surf for striped bass, visiting the casting ponds, and diving into George’s story—his roots, his mission, and why he’s dedicated his life to building something bigger than himself.
