delete later but i guess i gotta go get that 3rd essay out someday. cause it'd be pretty disrespectful not to address what happened in the last 2 days and how our cries were heard so i guess we were partially right in the end.
the other problem is that i made it too long again. i really don't want to have to make another 2 posts.
and the final problem is that i realized last night that my hubble journey isn't over. you will see why when that essay is out lol but if it's out, then this journey is really over.

i know people are watching me but it’s like whoa people are watching me O___. though i have to admit that i had never been so relieved to see them. it was the first time that i actually felt normal. and that was all we ever needed.
because not having anyone to turn to, rely on, or recognize from our era in our time of need was seriously agonizing...
but now i also realize we probably couldve emailed gavin about that so im uh sorry we didnt think about that before. too many things were happening and all we remembered was we had each other to rant to and re-question ourselves. i hope scholastic doesnt fire him for that; he had his reasons for not knowing, as so it was assured by the person who would be to blame if people blame them.
and he’s a great author, game designer, and longtime community advocate. you would sorely regret it if you didnt keep him or worked with him in the future. 🤨
lowkey though, if i didnt have anyone by my side, i would have broken down in guilt and despair hearing all this spiral out of control. and i wasnt even in the game. in the words of stellar, crazy how all this drama happened because we stayed AWAY from the game.
im sorry big big ates, i didnt mean for all this to happen. i’m sure they’re a decent person, nothing really wrong with old people being friends with younglings but the way explanations were executed after the first post was getting weirder with every post, from an outsider’s perspective. think the line was really crossed when children were sharing emails. which pretty sure some of them looked kinda personal 💀 actually wait yeh stellar said some were school emails 💀💀💀 meofftofindoutwhereeverybodylives/j 😶🌫️
pretty sure everything started with that stupid imposter though. especially with docs, leading to emails and whatnot bruh. just fyi, nobody does docs except us and workplace people; everybody’s on discord trend or slack. it was pretty sickening to watch them continue to lie to their friends though and they had the audacity to join our circle and reply to our clearup post.
like no bro, we caught you red-handed 💀 all the things you said/posted and the person you targeted didnt add up. FACTS clashed. personalities MILES off. my recordings include our targeted fam which i actually didn’t know i had until i tried to find andreal’s merlin backup, which i also forgot user. i’m sorry, andreal. i couldn’t save it.
whatevs, just hope friends are cautious because the tone of the imposter in and outside the friend group was vastly different, like by a few years different. CONCERNINGLY different. and it felt like the friends still believed in them.

that email thing is a joke. the school and personal emails part is not a joke. anyways i don't know that email post and i don’t really care about it. just used the images stellar dumped into our docs. didn't look for any other comments if there were more.
because it was really hard to look at nf, all those posts about migration and accounts and weird generation alpha/offramp era behavior, i didn't want to see that. i don't mind the crying or goodbye or sharing final art posts, that's normal behavior, but the other stuff was plain weird and disturbing.
i ended up breaking down when i finally opened nf on the last day and seeing that was the state it was in. then i tried to counter them with our own posts and went back to archiving our stuff. i didn’t have time to continue crying.
will now always prefer our mb apocalypse where we just acknowledged our world was ending and decided to spend our final times celebrating everything by being ourselves with our last rps/games/words/heartaches.
i wish people treated us like other hubbles. because maybe we could’ve been friends and fam or distant friends of friends if people weren’t so strange. like whaddya mean ye spent your last days talking about all those stuff and impostering and idolizing or whatever instead of hanging out with your own friends? and why did i have spend my last days berating society, this entire stupid madness is all just like what??? 💀💀💀💀💀

bad news is that no server means no map games which i didn’t record. oh well. i was too busy ripping out my fam's nf posts. and memories are more important than the game.
honestly i dont think i can record any of the game anymore. we’re not gonna die without the game anyways, we will die without the music so that will come out s-someday i guess
perhaps someone with more knowledge and devotion to HB than me can reboot it someday.
I guess this is also why you need to spend every day like it's your last when an apocalypse is announced. figure out what you need to pack, then somewhat figure out a hierarchy tree of priorities. and obiouvsly, tearin’ down newsfeed is the only way to go

because when you’re the most powerful amateur archivist, it means you have a responsibility to grab everyone's stuff
and you cant trust anyone to do it unless you have a group of friends by your side.
and even if i do have one, i’m the only person who has been able to rip things out at record lightning speeds and the one who had the most time to waste doing that. 400+ posts in 3-4 hours is ridiculous and daunting.
if i were responsible, i would have had a schedule but been discovering new things like every day so no schedule 🤓 also prob would have started earlier but had no clue i’d find this stuff. guess thats what curiosity does to me as long as it doesn’t kill me too
i cannot save everybody and i don’t have the time to explain how. nor do i want to go to jail for doing that, which i probably won’t because what does scholastic have against a squeaky girl plus ToS says can rip stuff out for personal reasons but at this rate with a lawyer, their power and money, i guess anything’s possible.

in fact, i had not stepped into newsfeed ever since reading that one apocalypse post and this other post which is ridiculous because-
why is it so much easier to navigate newsfeed outside of the actual game?
why did we have to click a profile to get to someone’s posts?
why was it so hard to ask for a search bar?

if they love filters so much, why was it so hard to ask for a filter where we could type a username into it?
was it really that hard to ask for a user input and have us type the username into the filter, when also going through profiles literally sorts it out the same way?
what was the problem??? legal issues? funny that this game wasnt open to the EU area or whatever restricted area in europe it was until 2 years after the beta period. SA was worldwide but i guess laws change as time goes on so maybe can let that slide-ish.
either way, i’ll never understand what this game held for us besides flares and the desperation for the need to attract children to stay. There was never not a point in time when you look at the result of this game and just ask why? because it is extremely sad to know this game hasn’t improved, moved forward, or changed for the last 4 years.

im deleting all my art, skits, writing cause ToS says scholastic owns everything uploaded perpetually. guess I kinda always knew something like that would possibly happen so that's why i never bothered to upload much. think the only possible way that you could tryyy to get out of it is with the unspoken rule of deleting your work off the site yourself. since actually deleting posts gets deleted off the server database for good. and i want to own all my stuff in the end, tHanKs

and to finally sum up the final hb days cause my word count was too long, i cannot believe i am saying this but this apocalypse has been one actual hell of a rollercoaster ride. it is SHOCKING TO KNOW the amount of drama and lying that can happen on a 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙣'𝙨 game in one whole stinkin’ month.
i have never been so glad to see a game die so fast, because it doesn’t deserve this weird “society” that it has hosted/produced.

crazy to know that we can also cross boundaries and break rules. i dont agree with people blatantly dumping out emails and usernames to other sites directly on hb. the way us kiddos found each other was playing around the rules which was what made it so awesome. at the very least, could say “my user’s the same as it is on ___” cause that means you want to be found. or maybe just dont share personal info and say “i can be found on ___ place”.
here’s hoping that children are just safe i guess.
especially when we have people 10+ years older chasing after others to get together with them yeesh.

honestly, the way my patience meter with hb tanked to negatives so fast with every added event is downright crazy, especially when i was told by several people that i had saved a traitor. people who were not honest, could not be true to themselves. people who pretended to be someone else. there’s a difference between having backups and having different personalities to fit into a society. because at this rate, I don’t even know you are anymore.
i’m so glad i saved mbers first because i know that in all the disagreements, fights, and wars, we shared too many memories together in our own unique way.
i have never been so disappointed, ashamed, or had such a loud and sad laugh in a generation and just the overall offramp era of hb; to find out i wasted half a day saving someone who we thought was chill and legit when i could’ve been saving better people...
people who I think would be better role models than me, people who others can relate to, who have made mistakes, who have shown growth, and who know how to be unapologetic for their beliefs… so many people i won’t even be able to make down through the list.
i’m thankful to my friends for catching that so we could verify things again and reorder our list to start saving as many of the real og hubbles as possible ‘till we cannot any longer.

Not sure what this means for TDP's future or for the chances of a third arc. Canceling the game two days before Season 7 airs is just weird after 5? 6? years of work and a terrible TDP Tuesday to end on. I seriously hope we get a third arc. Even though we had some tumbles, we had our triumphs recently with Season 6. Plus, I wanna explore other parts of Xadia, not just our Sunfire elf arc haha... Crossing fingers that this season's rankings can shoot through the charts.

MK Season 5 was out yesterday. Slowly binged it all with Monkey Speed VPN then just referred to pirating cause was seeing way too many spoilers.
Thoughts on whole season. Mandarin dubs only cause English don't exist yet and honestly no clue when it'll come. The releases for this franchise is just wild—
********* MAJOR SPOILER TERRITORY **********
For animation, saw the trailer when it first released. Idk personally it's hard for me to adjust to changes so wasn't terribly excited like Season 4's. Honestly, I actually expected worse but animation seems to be tolerable so that was a nice surprise. Though there are some scenes that I cringe at like all the mech stuff cause Flying Bark did it way better. Someone also compared a scene between Ne Zha in the courtroom vs in his mech so you could tell WildBrain was learning throughout animating the season. Ain't like Flying Bark's season 1 where it was consistent ._______.
Story was really good at the start so got hyped at that. Especially that bit with Pigsy and MK near the beginning. Whole running away in Episode 2 seemed decent as well. Emotions were well paced, then it got kinda weird towards the end... I don't speak Mandarin but I can like half-understand majority of stuff being said. Absolutely LEGO's fault if they forced the writing team to crush that season + special down to just a season. :// Then again, the series overall kinda lacks time for expanding on things and not just being a fast-paced anime. Idk how I feel about the end though: kinda cliche cause they just turned it into Legend of Korra Season 4 >_> which personally that felt like a very lousy excuse to just give everybody powers. 눈_눈 I prefer Season 3's friendship trope over this unfortunately.
In terms of characters, stupid 100 eyed demon was not very relevant except for sake of trauma despite having history with Spider Queen. Not enough Nine-Eyed Demon unless they're trying to bring him back for Season 6 with a season + season to add on to the arc? instead of season + special. All those onimous quasi-feared Cloaked Kings just died unless Nine-Eyed Demon was actually them the whole time; don't feel like translating to decipher but that was my understanding which I hope I'm wrong. Nuwa was fairly interesting so I'm gonna wait for someone to provide full on translations.
Also, feel stupid for not realizing changing animation studios, meant changing all the studios they worked with. Cutting Edge and Digitoonz pretty sure worked with Flying Bark especially since Cutting Edge is in Australia. Didn't expect change with composer studio D.A.'s Office since they worked on other LEGO-related shows outside of Australia. But yeah, was super iffy when all the weird sounds started playing like idk I think they used some kind of squeaky sound several times in an episode? (look idk where or what exactly, it was just too noticeable every 5 seconds of its use) and it was irking me at how wrong it sounded. *eyetwitch* Should not have changed out Frank Studios/Cutting Edge. We lost all the iconic sounds from the previous seasons.
Overall, Season 5's an okay season to the addition; not really my fave though. At least there's a conclusion to what happened in Season 4. Though I personally dislike how the season ended and all the additional studio changes; like animation's one thing but the other stuff we had no warning on that. 💀 Guess I'm used to this show's treatment. I'll miss Flying Bark for sure and all the previous seasons will have a special place in me. I hope English version comes out soon so we can hear the raw emotions.
Dang it, I did not mean for this to get so negative. Uh I like the extra designs? they had in Episode 6, Dragonfruit moments with the Samadhi Fire again?, and I'll respect WildBrain's work.

Edit: Yep, watched all the episodes after the repeat of the Season 4 fiasco release smh. Marketing is so terrible and this just gets crazier with every season/special. Still stand by my statements. Though the season is decent at least and not as disastrous as it could’ve been. And at a glance, scenes can be adequate enough to replicate Flying Bark style pretty okay; it's just way more obvious to my artist eye. (´。＿。｀) Worse comes to worst, one could always just listen to the audio just like the rest of the MK audiobooks in China lol I personally don't like ending so much for personal reasons stated before but **sigh** I've come too far to abandon this series. I will seriously miss Flying Bark though :// but am happy they seemed to have gotten their name out there working on the Moon Girl show and that new ATLA movie <:)

Not really someone who celebrates New Years cause every day has been pretty similar to me but it’s good to have some goals… So New Year’s resolution? Dunno, much hasn’t changed.
- finish off some vids & requested stuff from last year
- finish up merch designs (SA, TDP?, MK?)
- make my first storyboard/animatic
- do well in studies
- sell off junk acquired from family
- get some exercise
- find an internship
- okay imma stop here before this list gets any longer lol 🫠
I guess nothing too unrealistic so far; just continuing and adding goals to last year’s. Spent most of New Year’s day sleeping in after a long hike and walking downtown Vancouver, Canada with extended family the previous day.
