I’m Matt from Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada 🇨🇦
I make random outdoors videos, lives, vlogs, and shorts. I’m very spontaneous mixed with ADHD so that’s why random thoughts. If you enjoy outdoor content with breathtaking views and spontaneous adventures then this is the channel for you.
I’ll be bringing you random Lives around Cape Breton, traffic cams, beach cams, sunset cams, just what ever cams 😂 fishing 🎣 cams too.
I grew up less fortunate and times were really hard and I missed a lot of opportunities to be a normal kid and have normal friends. Everything went bad quick over the years, from the ARMY to all civilian jobs there after. Nothing ever worked or stuck.

After way too many random rants, stories, and late-night thoughts, I finally did it… I started a podcast! 🎧
It’s called “Random Thoughts Indoors” 🛋️🐾
It’s me, my cat, a microphone, and way too much coffee sharing stories, Cape Breton vibes, outdoors-ish talk, and whatever randomness pops into my head.

🚨Breaking News🚨: I have officially survived ONE YEAR of marriage without being traded in for a newer model. 😆😆😆😆
Today marks mine and my wife’s first anniversary, and honestly, she deserves a trophy, a parade, and maybe a lifetime supply of earplugs for putting up with me. 🏆🥁😂
She’s been the backbone of me AND this channel—aka the reason I’m not out in the woods eating ramen noodles and calling it “bushcraft gourmet.” 🌲🔥
So thank you, love, for being my teammate, my editor of life’s chaos, and for not filing divorce papers every time I say, “Wait, let me just film this real quick.” ❤️

Remote jeep camping part 2 will be live this evening. Oh and if yall aren’t aware, Nova Scotia is on a strict burn ban and all crown and private woods is closed until drought conditions change. We are not aloud in any wooded trail systems, wooded lakes even beaches are closed until October or until we get lots of rain. That means our remote jeep wild camping is at a stand still. We will still be out to beaches that are open and I’ll continue to vlog and keep you all updated on the situation. Stay active and stay positive.

What a blast it was spending 2 days and 1 over land jeep camp night in Meat Cove Cape Breton Island. Beautiful views and peace and quiet. Can’t wait to start editing this trip. This vlog is going to be the best yet.

Hey y’all. I’ve been having computer issues lately and I’m currently trying to learn how to use DaVinci resolve. Please be patient as the part 2 camping will definitely be late. I was using CapCut pro before and was running into issues, also the new terms of service were a bit alarming so I’ve moved on to a more professional editing software. My laptop was bought second hand and had a bad version of windows which I’ve finally removed and fresh install of windows is done. Now lots of updates and learning DaVinci resolve. We will be back next week with the vlogs. Thanks for your patience and as always, we’ll see ya in the next one.
