Zwift race live stream at 2pm PST

If at first you don't succeed, find a 50km double draft event and try again.

I had a blast!! My first impression - Zwift racing IS NOT outside racing. After looking back at my most recent crits, I think the best way to summarize it is by looking at the power zones. Outside races there is much more time spent coasting, drafting, cornering, and doing little spikes in power to maintain a close distance to the rider in front of you. Even in the breakaway at the cherry pie p/1/2 crit, there was a lot of time coasting. Zwift, on the other hand, removes the cornering and surges, resulting in a very consistent power output. On one hand, it's frustrating because this does not play into my strengths, but the good news is it will force me to ride sustained power near threshold and develop that ability. Plus, I have a lot to learn when it comes to zwift pack dynamics, power-ups, etc.. so you definitely haven't seen the last of me.

It was fun to finally interface directly with my fans, you guys are awesome. I got a lot of good tips, and I'm looking forward to doing more of these live streams. Discord? Group rides? I heard a lot of good ideas floating out there. Stay tuned, and stay healthy.

Live streaming my FIRST ZWIFT RACE!

Why? Stay motivated, plus I don't know what I'm doing so you can watch me screw it up.
When? Crit City Race (A) on Monday April 6th at 2:30pm PST.
Who? Anybody! Race with me or just drop in to the live chat and tell me I'm doing everything wrong.

I'll get on a bit early for some Q&A, and cool down with some more.
