When Did 50 Become an Achievement?

I was scrolling through death news from Coorg – 2025.
What shook me wasn’t just the number of deaths…

It was the age.
20s.
30s.
40s.
Today, reaching 50 feels like a milestone, not because life is long — but because life has become fragile.

Then I paused.
My grandparents lived till 95.

Acknowledgement & Gratitude 💚🙏

Almost a decade ago, I started influencing people…
and honestly, it was all fun.

Travel. Parties. Social circles.

Spending time and money without much thought.

Life felt light. Carefree. Comfortable.

But life has its own way of waking you up.

The Coorg floods.
COVID-19.
And a phase where my personal, professional, and family life were completely shaken.

When I suffered…
I suffered alone.
That’s when a deep realisation hit me:

👉 There is no point in influencing people in the wrong direction.

I saw a close food-influencer friend build massive reach through food vlogging.
One day, his gallbladder was removed.

And a question haunted me:

If something happens to the influencer… what happens to the people who blindly followed?

That day, my perspective changed.

I chose a harder path.
I chose conscious living.
Right food.
Right lifestyle.
Right business mindset.
Right conversations — even when they were uncomfortable.

I changed my business model.
I changed my content.
I changed myself.
And yes…

👉 My views dropped.
👉 Criticism started.
👉 People unfollowed.
👉 Business initially crashed.

I felt like I was losing the masses.
But something beautiful happened silently.
People didn’t shout support —
they followed quietly.
Some called me late at night and spoke from the heart.

Some messaged privately.
Some just watched… and reflected.

I realised something profound:
💡 People are frustrated with their lives…
💡 But they are scared to step out of comfort and convenience.

Then came the Coorg Carnival.

I was informed that I was nominated for the “People’s Choice” Award.

I didn’t ask for a single vote.
I didn’t campaign.
I just told people — “Go enjoy the carnival.”

Because somewhere deep inside, I believed:
“People don’t like me the way they used to…
I speak too much truth now.”

And then… the shock.
My team called.

🥇 FIRST PLACE — People’s Choice Influencer Award.

I was speechless.
Votes came from:

My team.
My family.
My ex-employees.
Well-wishers.
People who believed in silence.
And yes…

I heard my mother was canvassing for votes 😊💚

No words can express this feeling.
Just pure gratitude.

it’s a responsibility.

As I sit down to write this email, my heart is overflowing with gratitude. It’s been 15 incredible years since the Evergreen County journey began — a journey filled with adventure, uncertainty, victories, learnings, and countless unforgettable moments. A true roller coaster… but a beautiful one. And through every twist and turn, you were there.

Your trust, your laughter, your stories, your presence — each one of you has helped shape Evergreen County into what it is today. You weren’t just guests. You became part of our clan… part of our heartbeat… part of the Evergreen story.

Over the last year, we stepped into a new chapter with the Evergreen County Retreat Model — a vision born from experience, purpose, and a deep desire to help people reconnect with nature, slow down time, and return home transformed.
Today, with great joy, I want to share that we are now on the verge of completing one successful year, and the impact has already been profound. People have walked in tired and walked out lighter. They have arrived disconnected and left aligned. Seeing these transformations has been one of the most fulfilling phases of my life.
