This recognition is not just about me. It represents every struggle, every sacrifice, every failure, and every comeback that shaped my path—from the soil of Coorg to an international platform.

My heartfelt thanks to the organisers, dignitaries, Anyhelp groups and the entire awards committee for trusting my vision and honouring my work in business transformation, nature-based leadership, and human empowerment.

I bow in gratitude to:

My parents, who gave me values before comfort.
My wife Kokila and my son Viaan, who are my emotional and spiritual strength.

This Is How Evergreen County – India’s First Pure Veg Adventure Retreat Was Born

I did not change because of failure.
I changed because I could not lie to my son.

One day, Viaan looked at me and asked very simple questions…

But they shook my entire existence.
“Papa, why do people drink?”
“If it is good, why can’t I drink?”

I had no real answer.
Then he asked,

“Why do people smoke?”
Silence again.

Then he said something that pierced my heart:
“You are feeding birds and chickens with love…
Then how can we eat them?”

And the final question that broke my old identity:

“Papa, you stop me from eating sauces, fried items, white bread, muffins, packet food, cool drinks…
Then how will you allow our guests’ children to eat them in our resort?”

In that moment, I saw myself clearly.
I was teaching my child one life…
But living another life.
I was telling him what is right,
But justifying what is wrong because “everyone does it.”

This is called cognitive dissonance.
Knowing the truth… yet following the herd.
Living a mediocre life with intelligent excuses.

I realized:
I talk about health, but I allow poison.
I talk about consciousness, but I sell unconscious habits.
I talk about values, but I compromise them for business.
And I made a decision:
Either I change my child to fit this world…
Or I change my world to protect my child.

That day, I chose the harder path.
I changed myself.
I changed my kitchen.
I changed my menu.
I changed my policies.
I changed my business model.
I changed my entire way of life.
No alcohol.
No smoking.
No non-veg.
No processed food.
No chemical addiction.
No unconscious entertainment.

Only:
Pure vegetarian, plant-based food.
Fresh air instead of smoke.
Natural adventure instead of artificial thrill.
Conscious living instead of herd living.
Eco-friendly systems instead of exploitation.
Values instead of validation.
That is when Evergreen County was truly born.
