Well, two weeks of conventions have come to an end. It's a bit sad, but damn, it was a wonderful two weeks.

I'll be back to regular updates going forward.

Quick updates:

The channel hit 14k subscribers. I am quite literally pleasantly stunned. Thank you all.

I'll announce the restart of the Twilight Isle Open Table once I have the time and date of a forthcoming medical procedure. I'll detail it more on tomorrow night's Gamers' Health. Suffice to say, I know the law of averages - it will likely be whatever day I decide to schedule the Open Table, therefore the delay. I hope you understand.

We'll be moving early access to 2 to 3 videos a week from all minions to Super Minions and Master Minions over the next week or so. I was supposed to happen last week, but I literally haven't had the time to make the change ;)

We now have 19 Super Minions and 21 Master Minions, as well as over 300 rank-and-file Minions. I can't thank you all enough.

It looks like a quality release for OSE that I have little if any personal use for, and thus I'm passing on it. Demons will play little if any part in my B/X Open Table Campaign, and I don't need the additional races/classes. I'm sure the 2026 edition of the OSE rules will be available on the Exalted Funeral website upon release.

I'm not saying don't buy it. I'm simply saying it's narrow focus isn't what I need at my table. Your table may differ. I stopped being a completist years ago ;)

It has come to my attention over the past few days that another YouTuber produced a video based on my original Three Layer Encounter framework from December: https://youtu.be/cqSeGMi5S1I. Having watched the copy, the nicest thing I can say is "Imitation is the greatest form of flattery." This wasn't a situation of "parallel creation", mind you — it was intentional, and the community noticed.

The whole situation made me realize that I've upped my game over the past six months, and although the original Three Layer Encounter was damn good, it wasn't as complete as it needed to be. Hey folks, Tenkar here.

I was looking at the calendar during Wednesday's Talking Crit livestream and reality hit me. We are less than two weeks away from NTRPG Con, with CNY RPG Con happening the very next week.

Between prepping to run sessions at both cons and keeping the channel moving, the math is pretty brutal. I need to record and schedule roughly 3+ weeks of videos in about a week and a half so the channel doesn't go dark while I'm on the road.

Because of that crunch, scheduling the next Open Table session before I get back from CNY just isn't feasible. There's only so much sand in the hourglass, and I need to prioritize making sure the daily videos are locked, loaded, and ready for you guys.

We will absolutely get the Open Table back on the schedule once the con dust settles and I'm back in the Tavern full-time.
