Ok that's the headline. The full story is: I'm doing a fully sponsored video and it includes a giveaway. I know most people don't love when YouTubers do fully sponsored videos and after taking a break from making videos and spending more time watching videos, I can say that I totally understand. So although I don't expect people to change their minds, I figured the least I could do is make it worthwhile to my audience and not just to me. So here's what I'm doing:
- The video is a guide so at least there's some value - The brand is going to giveaway one unit of their product - I chipped in myself and am giving away 3 Steam gift cards to runners up
The video should be out this week; hopefully tomorrow. The giveaway will be open for 30 days and you don't have to watch the full video to enter. I will say that regular viewers of my channel will have the best chance to win (you'll see why).

So I'm kind of getting a rhythm recently with my video publishing. The last two weeks I've had 1 Steam Deck news video and 1 comprehensive look at something. In both cases, the comprehensive look was at Valve, but I assume it won't always be that way. I don't mind talking about Valve every week but it's probably not possible. Anyway wdy think?
What's more important to you _right now_ for a PC handheld: OLED or VRR? Everything else being equal (but limited to the power of current handhelds) - would you rather have an OLED display with no VRR or VRR display with no OLED?
(This is not for a video right now - I'm just curious)

Literally the best way to play Switch 2 (in handheld mode). Actually good ergonomics - I could cry 😭.
This is the GameSir G8+. It's a telescopic controller intended for phones and it works perfectly on the Switch 2 (after a firmware upgrade). It has hall effect sticks, configurable inputs, good vibration, the sticks and buttons are hot swappable, and it even [kinda] works in tate mode.
(Note: I don't advise using the method pictured here for vertical orientation... still trying to figure out a better setup)

There's a new leak that Xbox Ally will be priced at $499. The leaker is extas1s who has had their hits and misses and regardless of the leak itself, I want to know what you think. Leave your thoughts in the comments too.
That said, clearly I have been gone for a few months. At this point, I'm calling it a sabbatical. There were no external factors that contributed to me taking a break - I think I just realized I was _ready_ for a break. I have a day job so I only do YouTube for fun (and when I want to) and right now my motivation isn't particularly high so I figured it'd be best to back off, even if it costs me my audience.
