Just watched the latest PoZ video. The theist makes the same tired argument that atheists need to explain the entire god-damn universe when they reject God.
It made me think of a simple rebuttal that needs to be more popular:
When I eliminate the impossible, I am not obligated to conclude the actual.
Just finished another script. This was very cathartic to write. It's probably going to make a lot of my agnostic friends unhappy, but you guys really need to hear this. I say this as a friend...
Just finished recording the audio for my next video. I got really annoyed by all the YouTube science creators who failed to correctly explain the true meaning of the speed of light. So I made this:
New video coming soon. It needs a good, click-baity title. I’m thinking “Philosophy is Broken. Here is How to Fix It.” It describes how academic philosophy is basically a gigantic mess that has no standards and thus makes no progress. It’s a culmination of my philosophical journey here on YouTube in which I finally get to show, once and for all, that the so-called “professional” philosophers really have no idea what they’re doing. I don’t mean that in a confrontational or arrogant way, but as a serious statement of “no, really, you guys have a major problem that we need to address.” I hope you all enjoy it and learn something from it.
Philosophy: Engineered!
