No, nothing bad has happened to us 😀 but I do apologize for dropping off without much word for months. 😕 People have been messaging me concerned that something bad has happened so I'm popping in to wish you all a Happy New Year and letting you know we are doing well!

Not My Preferred Pace… But Still Grateful

The past 5 weeks have been a lot.
Not the slower, routine days I usually crave, but five weeks of go-go-go, barely-home, where-even-is-my-sanity kind of energy. 🤪

And yet… there’s beauty tucked in the chaos. Excitement in the mess of a house addition, connections with family and friends amidst the never ending packing and unpacking. 😀
Moments of laughter, growth, grace, and even a few deep breaths if I catch them just right. 😂

So I’m taking a little break here for a few weeks.
Trying to embrace the mess, live the story we’re in, and trust the routine will return soon, Lord willing.

Hey friends, I wasn't able to get a video up today (due to a chunk of extra work that hit us unexpectedly, and also turning things off for a few days to just be with family). Thanks to Hilton's free night awards, we were able to spend a few days in the sunny south over school break. (I'm so grateful for the experiences credit cards have given us).

The children had great fun. Two of the highlights being "Herbie" the unfortunate hermit crab that the children found and played with for some time... and the big iguanas running everywhere, scaring us half to death.

Thanks for putting up with my random postings, and understanding as I try to prioritize family over youtube.
