went into Little Nightmares 3 with low expectations and i really should have set them lower

(spoiler warning)

the characters were bland and went through no development, the unique areas were severely underutilized and had no flow into each other (all aside from the Carnival), Low’s abilities feel completely random and shoehorned in for convenience since they cut the Mirror Man boss, and the bugs. the bugs
i had to reload so many times in my solo playthrough just because the ai for Alone either wasn’t doing what it should have or was just m i s s i n g ToT

the ending felt like a last ditch attempt to feel like a real Little Nightmares game and make us devastated, but i honestly felt nothing
i couldn’t bring myself to care for characters that hadn’t really shown any personality

this game doesn’t hold a candle to the previous ones, and i’d even consider Very Little Nightmares better by a long shot

these games mean a lot to me and it’s painful to see the newest one so mishandled
