Nvidiaโ€™s CEO just projected $1 trillion in AI revenue over the next few years.

And yetโ€ฆ the stock barely moved.

Why?

Because investors arenโ€™t asking:
โ€œIs AI growing?โ€

Theyโ€™re asking:
โ€œIs this growth sustainable?โ€

Here is whatโ€™s actually happening under the hood:

Yes, demand is โ€œoff the charts.โ€
But investors are starting to question:

- Are companies overbuilding AI infrastructure?
- Will ROI ever catch up to the spend?

There are already signals:

- Massive AI investments ($1T+) are being fueled by debt and speculation
- Many companies still see little to no return from GenAI

When a company becomes:

- The most valuable in the world
- The clear market leader

The bar shifts from:
โ€œAre you winning?โ€

to
โ€œCan you keep outperforming insane expectations?โ€

Thatโ€™s a much harder game.

Even Nvidiaโ€™s biggest customers (think Big Tech) are:

- Building their own chips
- Reducing dependency long-term

Translation:
Todayโ€™s infrastructure layer can become tomorrowโ€™s commodity.

And here is the part people miss...

Most people are treating AI in their careers like investors treated Nvidia:

- Chase the hype
- Add โ€œAIโ€ to everything
- Assume demand = job security

Thatโ€™s a mistake.

The winners in the next 3โ€“5 years wonโ€™t be:
- Just use AI tools

Itโ€™ll be people who understand:
- Where value actually accrues in the AI stack
- Which layers get commoditized vs defensible
- How to tie AI โ†’ real business outcomes (not demos)

You donโ€™t just learn AI.
You build a real AI product with:

- AI engineers
- Data scientists
- Designers

So you walk away with:
โ†’ Actual product experience
Something you can talk about in interviews
Proof you can deliver, not just talk

Proud moment. One of our students, Jess, just passed her second-round interview with ๐Œ๐ž๐ญ๐š for an ๐€๐ˆ ๐๐Œ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฅ๐ž.

What helped her stand out?

Not another resume bullet.

A ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฅ ๐€๐ˆ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ she built: Handy.AI.

She developed it during our AI PM Bootcamp โ€” and it became the proof hiring managers were looking for.

And itโ€™s not just Jess.

Another student, Chauncey, used the ๐ฌ๐š๐ฆ๐ž ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ-๐›๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ง๐  ๐š๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐š๐œ๐ก and landed a ๐’๐ญ๐š๐Ÿ๐Ÿ ๐๐Œ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฅ๐ž ๐š๐ญ ๐“๐ž๐ฌ๐ฅ๐š.

This reveals something important about todayโ€™s AI PM job market:

Hiring managers donโ€™t want theory.
They want evidence you can execute.

The strongest candidates can demonstrate they know how to:

โ€ข Define a clear AI hypothesis
Build a production-level AI product
Show real product thinking (not just frameworks)
Validate with real users

Thatโ€™s exactly what weโ€™re covering in our ๐‘“๐‘Ÿ๐‘’๐‘’ ๐ด๐ผ ๐‘ƒ๐‘Ÿ๐‘œ๐‘‘๐‘ข๐‘๐‘ก ๐‘€๐‘Ž๐‘›๐‘Ž๐‘”๐‘’๐‘š๐‘’๐‘›๐‘ก ๐‘Š๐‘œ๐‘Ÿ๐‘˜๐‘ โ„Ž๐‘œ๐‘ tomorrow.

50,000+ jobs eliminated in the past year โ€” with AI cited as the reason.

Amazon: 16,000 layoffs
Dow: 4,500 jobs cut
Pinterest: 780 roles eliminated

Thatโ€™s the headline.

But hereโ€™s the part most people miss.

For every role AI replaces, itโ€™s also creating ๐ก๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ž๐ซ-๐ฉ๐š๐ฒ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ for people who know how to work with AI.

The data is already showing it:

โ†’ Job postings requiring AI skills ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐›๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐จ๐ง๐ž ๐ฒ๐ž๐š๐ซ
โ†’ AI-skilled roles ๐ฉ๐š๐ฒ ~๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“% ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ž (about $18K extra per year)
โ†’ ๐Ÿ–๐ŸŽ,๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ+ ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ now mention generative AI skills

AI isnโ€™t just changing jobs.

Itโ€™s redefining who gets hired.

And this is where many product managers struggle.

They know AI skills matter.
But when they try to break into AI PM rolesโ€ฆ they get stuck.

Why?

Because the tasks many PMs rely on today are exactly the ones AI is automating:

โ€ข gathering information
โ€ข writing reports
โ€ข summarizing data
โ€ข passing insights along

Companies arenโ€™t looking for people who manage information anymore.

They want people who can

The PMs who will win in this AI era are the ones who can:

1๏ธโƒฃ Design AI-powered products strategically
2๏ธโƒฃ Lead teams that ship production-level AI features
3๏ธโƒฃ Integrate AI into real product roadmaps and decisions

Thatโ€™s exactly what Iโ€™ll be teaching in my upcoming ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐ž๐ž ๐€๐ˆ ๐๐Œ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ

Dr. Nancy Li - Director of Product

She went from a successful entrepreneurโ€ฆ to needing a full-time caregiver.
And instead of giving up, she decided to fix healthcare.

This past weekend, I attended the Stubborn & Sophisticated Womenโ€™s Day Brunch.

One of the panelists, Adriana L. Cowdin, shared a story that I havenโ€™t been able to stop thinking about.

Adriana used to be a highly successful entrepreneur โ€” the kind of person who worked nonstop, building companies and living the fast-paced founder life.

And then, everything changed.

About 10 years ago, she started experiencing mysterious health issues.
No one could explain what was happening.

She went from doctor to doctor โ€” more than 10 different specialists.
Every doctor had a different diagnosis.
Every treatment plan was different.

Imagine living like that.

When your own body is failing youโ€ฆ
And the experts canโ€™t agree on whatโ€™s wrong.

At one point, things became so severe that she suffered seizures โ€” some triggered by misdiagnosis and mistreatment.

Today, Adriana lives with the help of a full-time caregiver.

Her life โ€” once filled with entrepreneurial success and independence โ€” was completely turned upside down.

But hereโ€™s the part that truly inspired me.

Instead of letting the system break her, she decided to build something to change it.

Through her journey, she realized something deeply broken in healthcare:

As patients, we often receive one-sided opinions from doctors.
And when conditions are complex, different doctors can give completely different answers.

Even more concerning โ€” she shared that as a woman, many doctors did not take her own observations about her body seriously.

So now, sheโ€™s building an AI healthcare startup.

Her vision is to use AI to help patients:
โ€ข analyze historical cases
โ€ข understand treatment outcomes
โ€ข access better second opinions
โ€ข and make more informed healthcare decisions

Especially for women, whose voices in healthcare are too often dismissed.

She also turned her experience into a book:
๐Ÿ“š Stubborn As Fโ™ฅ๏ธck

From thriving entrepreneur
to a patient fighting for answersโ€ฆ
to a founder again โ€” this time building something that could change healthcare for millions.

Thatโ€™s what living a legacy looks like.

It also made me think about the bigger picture:

Healthcare is one of the industries where information asymmetry is the most painful.

This is where AI has the potential to change everything โ€” not by replacing doctors, but by empowering patients with better information and perspective.

Adrianaโ€™s story is a reminder that sometimes the people who change systemsโ€ฆ
are the ones who were failed by them first.

Now Iโ€™m curious:

Have you or someone you love ever struggled to get the right diagnosis?

Drop a comment below ๐Ÿ‘‡
Your story might help someone else feel less alone.

And if a woman in your life inspired you like Adrianaโ€” tag her below. Letโ€™s celebrate the stubborn women who refuse to give up. ๐Ÿ’ช

Shoutout to Our Top AI PM Bootcamp Interns โ€” Cohort 7, Week of Mar 1โ€“7

At our AI PM Bootcamp, aspiring AI Product Managers donโ€™t just learn โ€” they build and launch real AI products with real users. So far, weโ€™ve successfully launched 50+ real-life AI products, and the momentum keeps growing.

Right now we have 70 teams building real AI products from scratch.

And the progress this week has been incredible.

Some teams are already 45โ€“60% complete and preparing for beta launches.

Others are shipping core infrastructure โ€” from LLM integrations and recommendation engines to AI-powered shopping agents, patent retrieval systems, and computer vision models.

Across teams this week, we saw major wins like:
โœจ Building a full AI shopping agent for a retail platform
โœจ Launching a USPTO patent retrieval engine with caching and query services
โœจ Completing AI-powered outfit recommendation systems
โœจ Building computer vision models to detect sun/shade exposure for health insights
โœจ Finalizing landing pages and data pipelines for AI tax intelligence tools

But building real AI products always comes with real challenges.

Teams are actively working through issues like database bugs, deploying apps to production, and integrating LLMs with RAG pipelines.

And thatโ€™s exactly the point of the program.

This is what real AI product development looks like.

Every week, we also recognize the interns who went above and beyond to push their teams forward.

๐Ÿ‘ Shoutout to our Top Interns Parinil Kala, Sophia Huo, Sudiksha Rajavaram, Tushar Gwal, Sami Malek, Shalini S K, George Chandy, Cromwell De Guzman, Avanee Lakare, Satyam Mittal, Anuj Kaushal, Kavitha Sankaran, Humayun Factoo, Yuxuan Qian, Imene Boukhelkhal, Ahmed Sherif, Jhanvi Z., Jibin Kunjumon, Lifei Liu, Hamza Chraim, Daris Chen, Natasha Saini, Sankalph Singh, Jishnu, Anusha, Jay Patel, Kusay Alnjem, Fatma Yousry, Eliza Kizzar, Wentao Ma, Nayyab Zahra, and Kanishka Jayanthi.

I'm excited to launch our ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐€๐ˆ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ ๐š๐ญ ๐๐Œ๐€: ๐๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฒ, an AI interviewer designed for product management professionals at any stage.

After doing 1,500+ PM interviews, I noticed one problem: ๐œ๐š๐ง๐๐ข๐๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ ๐ซ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ ๐ž๐ญ ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฅ ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ž๐๐›๐š๐œ๐ค.

Dr. Nancy Li - Director of Product

โ€œWhatโ€™s your favorite product?โ€

This is one of the most common PM interview questions.

And it silently eliminates a huge percentage of candidates.

I recently coached a PM who chose X(Twitter) as his favorite product.

His original answer sounded like what most people say:

- โ€œI like that itโ€™s text-based.โ€
- โ€œIt connects people in real time.โ€
- โ€œI like the CEOโ€™s engagement.โ€

Nothing wrong with it.

But nothing product-level about it either.

He answered from a user perspective.

Interviewers are evaluating you from a product manager perspective.

Saying โ€œI like it because itโ€™s fast and funโ€ tells me you use the product.

It doesnโ€™t tell me you can build one.

Instead of starting with opinions, we started with segmentation.
- Who are the core customer personas?

For X/Twitter, we identified:

- Content creators
- Content consumers
- Advertisers

Then he positioned himself:
โ€œI belong to the content consumer segment.โ€

Now weโ€™re thinking like a PM.

๐’๐ญ๐ž๐ฉ ๐Ÿ: Define Clear User Pain Points

Instead of โ€œI like text-based platforms,โ€ we reframed it to:

Short-form videos and image-heavy apps often optimize for entertainment over information density. As a knowledge-driven user, I want high signal, low fluff.

Twitter solves this with concise, text-first communication.

Most platforms prioritize curated or delayed feeds. I want real-time access to conversations and trends.

Twitter excels in immediacy.

Itโ€™s traditionally hard for everyday users to interact with leaders or public figures.

Open conversation threads reduce that barrier.

See the difference?

Now itโ€™s structured.
Persona โ†’ Pain Point โ†’ Product Solution.

Thatโ€™s product thinking.

๐’๐ญ๐ž๐ฉ ๐Ÿ: Feature Ideas Must Also Be Pain-Driven

He originally suggested adding AI to prevent scraping.

Interesting idea.

But we reframed it to something stronger:
- As a content consumer, my biggest unmet pain point is information overload.

So instead of random AI integration, we proposed:

An AI-powered real-time content curator that synthesizes high-volume conversations into personalized summaries.

Now the feature is:
- Tied to a persona
- Solving a defined pain
- Aligned with platform strengths
- Strategic, not reactive

Thatโ€™s how you stand out.
