Nvidiaโs CEO just projected $1 trillion in AI revenue over the next few years.
And yetโฆ the stock barely moved.
Why?
Because investors arenโt asking:
โIs AI growing?โ
Theyโre asking:
โIs this growth sustainable?โ
Here is whatโs actually happening under the hood:
Yes, demand is โoff the charts.โ
But investors are starting to question:
- Are companies overbuilding AI infrastructure?
- Will ROI ever catch up to the spend?
There are already signals:
- Massive AI investments ($1T+) are being fueled by debt and speculation
- Many companies still see little to no return from GenAI
When a company becomes:
- The most valuable in the world
- The clear market leader
The bar shifts from:
โAre you winning?โ
to
โCan you keep outperforming insane expectations?โ
Thatโs a much harder game.
Even Nvidiaโs biggest customers (think Big Tech) are:
- Building their own chips
- Reducing dependency long-term
Translation:
Todayโs infrastructure layer can become tomorrowโs commodity.
And here is the part people miss...
Most people are treating AI in their careers like investors treated Nvidia:
- Chase the hype
- Add โAIโ to everything
- Assume demand = job security
Thatโs a mistake.
The winners in the next 3โ5 years wonโt be:
- Just use AI tools
Itโll be people who understand:
- Where value actually accrues in the AI stack
- Which layers get commoditized vs defensible
- How to tie AI โ real business outcomes (not demos)
You donโt just learn AI.
You build a real AI product with:
- AI engineers
- Data scientists
- Designers
So you walk away with:
โ Actual product experience
โ Something you can talk about in interviews
โ Proof you can deliver, not just talk

Proud moment. One of our students, Jess, just passed her second-round interview with ๐๐๐ญ๐ for an ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฅ๐.
What helped her stand out?
Not another resume bullet.
A ๐ซ๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐๐ญ she built: Handy.AI.
She developed it during our AI PM Bootcamp โ and it became the proof hiring managers were looking for.
And itโs not just Jess.
Another student, Chauncey, used the ๐ฌ๐๐ฆ๐ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐๐ญ-๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐๐๐ก and landed a ๐๐ญ๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ซ๐จ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฅ๐.
This reveals something important about todayโs AI PM job market:
Hiring managers donโt want theory.
They want evidence you can execute.
The strongest candidates can demonstrate they know how to:
โข Define a clear AI hypothesis
โข Build a production-level AI product
โข Show real product thinking (not just frameworks)
โข Validate with real users
Thatโs exactly what weโre covering in our ๐๐๐๐ ๐ด๐ผ ๐๐๐๐๐ข๐๐ก ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ก ๐๐๐๐๐ โ๐๐ tomorrow.
Weโll break down:
โ How to build AI products that attract recruiter attention
โ What hiring managers actually look for in AI PM candidates
โ Why portfolios outperform resumes in this market
โ The framework our students used to land interviews at FAANG

50,000+ jobs eliminated in the past year โ with AI cited as the reason.
โข Amazon: 16,000 layoffs
โข Dow: 4,500 jobs cut
โข Pinterest: 780 roles eliminated
Thatโs the headline.
But hereโs the part most people miss.
For every role AI replaces, itโs also creating ๐ก๐ข๐ ๐ก๐๐ซ-๐ฉ๐๐ฒ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ for people who know how to work with AI.
The data is already showing it:
โ AI-skilled roles ๐ฉ๐๐ฒ ~๐๐% ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ (about $18K extra per year)
โ ๐๐,๐๐๐+ ๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ now mention generative AI skills
AI isnโt just changing jobs.
Itโs redefining who gets hired.
And this is where many product managers struggle.
They know AI skills matter.
But when they try to break into AI PM rolesโฆ they get stuck.
Why?
Because the tasks many PMs rely on today are exactly the ones AI is automating:
โข gathering information
โข writing reports
โข summarizing data
โข passing insights along
Companies arenโt looking for people who manage information anymore.
They want people who can
The PMs who will win in this AI era are the ones who can:
Design AI-powered products strategically
Lead teams that ship production-level AI features
Integrate AI into real product roadmaps and decisions
Thatโs exactly what Iโll be teaching in my upcoming ๐๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฉ

In this session, Iโll break down:
โข The latest hiring trends for AI PM roles
โข How to position yourself for AI opportunities (and avoid automation-prone work)
โข 5 traits that separate successful AI PMs from those who get replaced
โข A proven framework to break into AI PM or launch AI products

Dr. Nancy Li - Director of Product
She went from a successful entrepreneurโฆ to needing a full-time caregiver.
And instead of giving up, she decided to fix healthcare.
This past weekend, I attended the Stubborn & Sophisticated Womenโs Day Brunch.
One of the panelists, Adriana L. Cowdin, shared a story that I havenโt been able to stop thinking about.
Adriana used to be a highly successful entrepreneur โ the kind of person who worked nonstop, building companies and living the fast-paced founder life.
And then, everything changed.
About 10 years ago, she started experiencing mysterious health issues.
No one could explain what was happening.
She went from doctor to doctor โ more than 10 different specialists.
Every doctor had a different diagnosis.
Every treatment plan was different.
Imagine living like that.
When your own body is failing youโฆ
And the experts canโt agree on whatโs wrong.
At one point, things became so severe that she suffered seizures โ some triggered by misdiagnosis and mistreatment.
Today, Adriana lives with the help of a full-time caregiver.
Her life โ once filled with entrepreneurial success and independence โ was completely turned upside down.
But hereโs the part that truly inspired me.
Instead of letting the system break her, she decided to build something to change it.
Through her journey, she realized something deeply broken in healthcare:
As patients, we often receive one-sided opinions from doctors.
And when conditions are complex, different doctors can give completely different answers.
Even more concerning โ she shared that as a woman, many doctors did not take her own observations about her body seriously.
So now, sheโs building an AI healthcare startup.
Her vision is to use AI to help patients:
โข analyze historical cases
โข understand treatment outcomes
โข access better second opinions
โข and make more informed healthcare decisions
Especially for women, whose voices in healthcare are too often dismissed.
She also turned her experience into a book:
๐ Stubborn As Fโฅ๏ธck
From thriving entrepreneur
to a patient fighting for answersโฆ
to a founder again โ this time building something that could change healthcare for millions.
Thatโs what living a legacy looks like.
It also made me think about the bigger picture:
Healthcare is one of the industries where information asymmetry is the most painful.
This is where AI has the potential to change everything โ not by replacing doctors, but by empowering patients with better information and perspective.
Adrianaโs story is a reminder that sometimes the people who change systemsโฆ
are the ones who were failed by them first.
Now Iโm curious:
Have you or someone you love ever struggled to get the right diagnosis?
Drop a comment below ๐
Your story might help someone else feel less alone.
And if a woman in your life inspired you like Adrianaโ tag her below. Letโs celebrate the stubborn women who refuse to give up.

I'm excited to launch our ๐๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐๐ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐๐ฎ๐๐ญ ๐๐ญ ๐๐๐: ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐๐๐ฅ๐ฒ, an AI interviewer designed for product management professionals at any stage.
After doing 1,500+ PM interviews, I noticed one problem:
Most people practice interview questions alone, guess whether their answers are good, and walk into real interviews without knowing what hiring managers are actually looking for.
So my team and I spent the past year building Practicely.

Dr. Nancy Li - Director of Product
โWhatโs your favorite product?โ
This is one of the most common PM interview questions.
And it silently eliminates a huge percentage of candidates.
I recently coached a PM who chose X(Twitter) as his favorite product.
His original answer sounded like what most people say:
- โI like that itโs text-based.โ
- โIt connects people in real time.โ
- โI like the CEOโs engagement.โ
Nothing wrong with it.
But nothing product-level about it either.
He answered from a user perspective.
Interviewers are evaluating you from a product manager perspective.
Saying โI like it because itโs fast and funโ tells me you use the product.
It doesnโt tell me you can build one.
Instead of starting with opinions, we started with segmentation.
- Who are the core customer personas?
For X/Twitter, we identified:
- Content creators
- Content consumers
- Advertisers
Then he positioned himself:
โI belong to the content consumer segment.โ
Now weโre thinking like a PM.
Define Clear User Pain Points
Instead of โI like text-based platforms,โ we reframed it to:
Short-form videos and image-heavy apps often optimize for entertainment over information density. As a knowledge-driven user, I want high signal, low fluff.
Twitter solves this with concise, text-first communication.
Most platforms prioritize curated or delayed feeds. I want real-time access to conversations and trends.
Twitter excels in immediacy.
Itโs traditionally hard for everyday users to interact with leaders or public figures.
Open conversation threads reduce that barrier.
See the difference?
Now itโs structured.
Persona โ Pain Point โ Product Solution.
Thatโs product thinking.
Feature Ideas Must Also Be Pain-Driven
He originally suggested adding AI to prevent scraping.
Interesting idea.
But we reframed it to something stronger:
- As a content consumer, my biggest unmet pain point is information overload.
So instead of random AI integration, we proposed:
An AI-powered real-time content curator that synthesizes high-volume conversations into personalized summaries.
Now the feature is:
- Tied to a persona
- Solving a defined pain
- Aligned with platform strengths
- Strategic, not reactive
Thatโs how you stand out.
I put together a free database of the Top 50 Product Manager Interview Questions asked at Tier 1 companies โ the exact types of questions used to evaluate candidates at the highest level.
If you master these, you can realistically land an offer in 60 days.
Download it here:
