Every company wants to implement AI—but every company has different data, workflows, and problems.

A lot of people on H-1B are asking:

Don’t just list your previous experience.

Highlight the skills that transfer directly to product management, such as:

→ Analytics & problem-solving
→ Product analysis
→ Writing product requirements
→ Conducting customer interviews
→ Working with cross-functional teams

For Associate Product Manager (APM) roles, timing matters.

I recommend applying 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏 24 𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔 of the job being posted.

And whenever possible, get a 𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒂𝒍. It can help your application get noticed much faster.

3️⃣ 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐨

I’ve seen so many Business Analysts struggle to break into PM because they think:

“I don’t have the PM title, so I don’t have PM experience.”

But that’s often not true.

If you’re a Business Analyst, you may already be:

→ Working with engineering teams

Those are all things PMs do.

A year ago, Efehan Maleri joined my AI PM Bootcamp because he wanted to land an AI PM job.
