Hello everyone. We wanted to provide a reminder for the TheRunawayGuys/Thrown Controllers Colosseum tribute event, taking place **May 4th-6th**. Quickly going over the sources again:
- Rips of games which have been featured in Let's Plays by TheRunawayGuys as well as on their individual channels.
- Mario Party rips in general, particularly 1-8 and DS.
- Rips of in-jokes within the group, such as Spotted! Backpacker - Pokémon Black & White and Battle Options - Super Bomberman 4.
- Rips related to others associated with Colosseum (e.g. The8BitDrummer, StephenPlays, insaneintherain, FamilyJules, Tom Fawkes, Sab Irene, and others!).
- And to reiterate, as this event will not be affected by Twitch's more strict copyright system, mashups/pitchshifts are allowed.

Please get your submissions in by the **end of May 2** and label them on the form with **Colosseum 2025**. Thank you and happy ripping!

Along with our previous announcement we also have one more event to announce!

On **May 25th** the Angry Video Game Nerd series turns 21 years old (the show is now legally able to drink!) and to celebrate we're going to have a whole **AVGN Day**! Here are the sources:

- Rips of the Angry Video Game Nerd theme song by Kyle Justin.
- Rips of other AVGN songs like Kyle's Justin's cover of "Double Vision" by Foreigner and "Where Did Their Hair Go" also by Kyle Justin.
- Rips of games that AVGN has reviewed, like "Castlevania II: Simon's Quest", "Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle", "Action 52" and much more. You can check the AVGN episode playlist to see which games he has reviewed before.
- Rips of AVGN video games (Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures 1+2 and Angry Video Game Nerd 8-bit).
- Rips of songs from other series James Rolf has produced like "Board James" and "You Know What's Bullshit".
- Rips that reference other works produced by Cinemassacre.

Make sure to label your rips when submitting via the fan submission form with **AVGN Day**. We sure hope we know what we were thinking with this event! Have fun!

Hey everyone, we have a new event to announce!

As you may know, we've collaborated with the TheRunawayGuys/Thrown Controllers crew, providing rips to be streamed during their annual Colosseum charity event supporting Direct Relief on Twitch since 2020. However, they recently posted on Bluesky that due to their personal situations, the 2025 iteration will not happen.

As a result, we are holding a tribute to the tradition from **May 4th-6th**, the dates on which the first Colosseum event was held. Since there is no charity event this time, these rips will not be streamed. However, since this event will not be affected by Twitch's more stringent copyright system, mashups are allowed! Here are the general sources:

- Rips of games which have been featured in Let's Plays by TheRunawayGuys as well as on their individual channels: chuggaaconroy, NintendoCapriSun,and ProtonJon.
- Mario Party rips in general, particularly 1-8 and DS.
- Rips of in-jokes within the group, such as Spotted! Backpacker - Pokémon Black & White and Battle Options - Super Bomberman 4.

Hello everyone! We're happy to announce a new event day coming this April 20th! Presenting Barney Bumble Takeover... TOO! Barney Bumble is back and is on a mission to get wasted once more in their pursuit of a good time, leading them through a wild cross-town series of hilarious misadventures. You won't stop laughing as this guy goes on the most dank road trip ever through the blunted streets of Dimmsdale.

Here are the sources:
- Barney Bumble's hit song "Bumblicious" from "I Got Five On It Too" of course. There will be a link to drive file containing some useful resources for this event down below, including an FLP recreation, acapella and instrumental!

Hello everyone, we like to announce a new event for this year, the **Respect Your Elders 10th Anniversary** event day for **January 31st**! Here are the following sources that can be used for this event:

- Rips featuring Respect Your Elders by chillindude829.
- Rips of/featuring Venom Base Level 1, 3/Corneria (Melee)/Star Fox - Medley/the song sampled in Respect Your Elders.
- Rips of/featuring the actual Corneria theme (The one used in Melee is a different Star Fox song but the actual song will be used as well to increase ripping potential and due to the first Corneria rip on our channel being a mashup of Respect Your Elders).

Show your elders some respect!

If you like to submit rips for this event please use our fan submission form! You can find it in our channel's about page under links, along with our official fan discord server where you can chat with other fans in the community. Joining the server also helps our QC team to easily get in touch with you for any feedback regarding any rips you submit! When you are submitting, please make sure to label your rip for the event by putting **Respect Your Elders 10th Anniversary** in either the title or the joke description.
