Hi fellow creators. I wanted to check if anyone else had come up against this problem and somehow resolved it. We discovered today that a Chinese video sharing platform called Gan Jing World has somehow been able to download all our content from YouTube (including videos, thumbnails, descriptions, tags etc) and upload it all to their platform without our permission. And they are selling ads against it.
It seems completely unbelievable that YouTube would allow this, but there you go. Has anyone had this experience and resolved it? We only became aware of it after receiving this bizzare and seemingly unconnected invitation on Messenger. I can also see that channels like @PrimalVideo @cjexplores @touropia and many others are on there. I would love to hear from anyone else who has been through this: adam@tourtheworldtv.com.au.
