Muhammad Akbar Khan, at just 20 years old, killed the experienced Sikh general Hari Singh Nalwa in 1837 and defeated the British and Indian army in 1841, shocking the world's superpowers.
According to Alexander Gardner, a colonel who served under Ranjit Singh, Hari Singh Nalwa, despite being an experienced and brave soldier, couldn't resist the young Afghan warrior Akbar Khan and fell bravely at the hands of the Afghans.

Afghanistan's Sikhs are all of Punjabi descent, who came to Afghanistan as slaves and soldiers in the British army. They are neither Tajiks nor Pashtuns, but are currently our fellow countrymen.
The phrase "Chop Shah, Hari Singh Raghla" is not found in any historical documents and has recently emerged from modern Sikh books without historical evidence. In 1848, during the Anglo-Sikh War, Fateh Khan Khattak led a 70-member Pashtun Khattak group to defeat and kill around 1200 Sikh cavalrymen in Multan. He was one of the best British commanders (of Pashtun descent but working for the British).

Battle of Rohtas 60 thousand Sikh army defeated by 15 thousand army under Zangi Khan Durrani
In 1779, Timur Shah decided to reconquer Multan. He detached a select force of 15,000 men, consisting of Yusufzais, Durranis, Mughals, and Qazalbash, under the command of Zangi Khan Durrani, an experienced and brave general.ย The Shah advised him to move by unsustainable routes and thereby surprise the Sikhs and attack unannounced.ย He advanced towards Rohtas by forced marches.ย Zangi Khan issued strict orders to keep his movements strictly secret.ย The contemporary writer Hossein Shahi states that he did not speak in anyone's way and even if he wanted to drink water, he would only show his desire by pointing.ย He halted at a distance of 25 km from the Sikh camp and posted guards on all sides.ย He ordered to imprison anyone going towards the Sikh camp.ย After midnight Zangi Khan organized his troops.ย The Mongols and Ghazalbash were on his right side and the Deranis were on his left side.ย He himself remained at the head of a group of 5000 Yousefzai in the center.ย The Sikhs were completely unaware of their presence as they were believed to be in Peshawar, nearly 300 kilometers away.ย Early morning fell on the Sikhs shortly before dawn.ย "These people, cowardly as jackals and cunning as foxes, seeing brave warriors close at hand, in the twinkling of an eye leaped on their horses and prepared for battle. The resistance of the Sikhs was so hard that Zangi Khan was filled. Withย Desperation took off his turban and got victory from God. The prayer was answered and the enemy fled and the Afghans pursued them fiercely. About 30,000 Sikhs were killed and 500 drowned in the river Jhelam. When they were trying to cross the river, whileย 2000 of them reached the opposite bank safely.ย The heads of the Sikhs, mounted on hundreds of camels, were sent to Peshawar to please Timur Shah.

Rasul Khan Khattak Slayer of Sikhs.
