"Anora" working girl ends up thinking she's going to live the rich life with some guy who makes promises to her and then she's disappointed at the end. Oh how original. How revolutionary. Like we haven't seen that story 1 million times. Actress was good but character she was given wasn't anything unusual in my opinion.

Sorry but in my opinion Demi was robbed. She perfectly exemplified body dysmorphia outside of one's mind and outside of oneself combined with being humorous. Not easy.
Sorry I don't think screaming and having intimacy scenes for half a movie like in Anora is really that revolutionary. I'm about 15 years older than the actress who plays anora. And over 20 years younger Demi so it's not cause I'm ''old.''




If you want to watch a Baker film that actually is original, Tangerine is his best! Main characters are two trans women before that was even an open thing in media, on an effed up odyssey for revenge, better than his Anora movie. All shot on iPhones before tik Tok. Original and wildly entertaining. Not for everyone . But reality in some places. Reminded me of my time in the south Bronx in the past even though it's in LA. My aquarius moon heart loves the authenticity!
