Caritas in Veritate
Caritas in Veritate is a Latin phrase that translates to 'Charity in Truth'.
"Real love involves hatred. If we do not hate evil we are not being charitable. We cannot allow fear of offending people to obstruct our duty to speak the truth unambiguously for the sake of saving souls" - Father James Altman
We aim to highlight faithful priests that are unashamedly Catholic, relevant Catholic content and current affairs.
Caritas in Veritate is dedicated to bringing the truth, as cold and harsh as it may be, to Catholics around the globe. As part of our mission, we collaborate with a number of priests and faithful. Our apostolate was formed with the aim of supporting priests that are persecuted for the sake of truth, and together with this, we focus on bringing all actions that are inconsistent with the faith to the forefront.
The Mass is the source and summit of our faith, and without faithful priests to offer this most Holy Sacrifice, we have nothing. Let us keep them in our prayers.

Last week Father went to anoint Freddy & we were all praying for him
A message from Fr. Altman:
“The Strife is O'er, the battle done. The victory of life is won. Freddy's song of triumph has begun.
Alleluia.
Dear family, anecdotes are legion - there actually is what is known as "the last good day." However, as one recent film put it so well, "the trouble with the last good day is that you do not know it at the time."
Freddy had a blessed turnaround from the attack on his body, coming back from a lethal white blood cell marker to fully normal, and he rose from his bed to be with his family like a normal kid.
Last night, Our Father called him home in his sleep.
Let us now do what we should do - through our continued prayer, be a "Simon of Cyrene" to his family.
The Family truly thanks you for all your prayers.”

Why is such a simple command being turned into a circus by this Pontificate? Can we not even get the translations correct? Or is the Earth Mother the intended recipient? God is not the author of confusion. Let us increase our prayers today ahead of the consecration - and pray that Bergoglio corrects the language used.
